And think about this for a second. What might have been a couple other years. Florida won their 2 NCs at our expense. Had we beaten Chris Leak and company in 2006 we would have gone to the NC game. We won in 2007. Auburn won a NC at our expense a couple years ago. One Cam Newton rush away there in 2010. Alabama got voted a rematch in 2011. They made the most of it, and lucked out. If we get ONE first down in 2012 against Bama, in all likleyhood, we are playing Notre Dame, not them, and no one is even talking about Saban and Bama. These three teams, coupled with LSU, make up 8 of the last 10 National Champions. In short LSU is a whisker away from playing in SIX National Championships in 9 years under Miles.

Holy frick.

Haven't trashed the team at all...but I wouldn't expect you to be able to distinguish the difference!

This is the game that pisses me off most. Had we managed one first down to seal the game then we are still on very equal footing with Bama. Now I believe the perception is that we are losing ground. That effects recruiting as well. Hopefully Les will not let anymore LA talent get away this year and the we can close the gap.

One more first down was all we needed on that last series. We would still be tit for tat instead of looking back at a 3 in a row deficit. Come on board LF. We need ya.

the anti-Miles sentiment might subside.

Any LSU fan anti the most successful football coach in LSU history and one of the most successful three in the game from 2005 until now is a fricking moron and deserves all the gang banging you and they get.

Almost any thread that says anything even remotely positive toward Les has idiot trolls crawling out from the baseboards to spew their nonsense.

All I said to you was that someone with 700 post in your short time here shouldn't be calling others out for having nothing better to do with their time.

You are the one who got your panties in a wad. Not me

Chill Groupee! You're much too invested in this whole thing...no one has put out a contract on Miles. You and your kin are a little too self absorbed with your roles as the Rant police.

Try this mantra...."it's only a game....he's only a coach....Miles doesn't care what you or I think." It will help!

All Les is doing is sustaining a 2-3 loss a yr program but people get mad when fans point out why we can't get better instead of praising him for his winning percentage which has no indication of the significance of the games hes winning and losing. He is held accountable for his horrible losses and coaching in those losses equally as much as his wins.So now we should just be happy with being a mid level team in the West and forget the emabarrasing coaching blunders he refuses to fix that would take us to the next level with the talent we bring in. All criticism should go out the window be happy when we lose big games for the sole reason of bad coaching I get it now!

Nick saban just got a 2 million dollar raise for coming in 2 nd in sec west. But u morons give Miles no credit for playing the toughest schedule in the country and winning. U people think its easy to win sec titles. Lsu has 12 in the history of the program. And the great saban u dick suckers love so much has won 2 sec titles since he been at bama. Its not easy

Why don't you list for us all the programs in college football who are not averaging between 2-3 L's since 05 or all the coaches you see as big time who haven't averaged 2-3 L's in their careers. Just a hint...Nick isn't one since he came back to college and wasn't one at LSU.

Criticism is fine....if Nick can get it after the Auburn game then Miles can get it too. The problem comes in when the criticism don't come with an admission of all the remarkable achievements of LSU football in the last 9 yrs. A 9 yr period of success the likes of which we have never seen before at LSU.

Whoa now cheif nobody said it was easy winning SEC titles and nobody said he should win one every yr dumbass. What people want is for him to quit making the same bonehead mistakes that are costing us quality wins and and learn from them!Have a fricking clue what is going on in the game and be 1 step ahead not 1 step behind!

Please elaborate on this huge, seemingly ever-expanding list of bonehead mistakes that Miles has made that have cost us huge games. I'll give you Ole Miss in '09 and 1/9/12. Thanks and I'll hang up and listen.

Or, it's the greatest batting average in the history of the major leagues. You see, a winning percentage in football can't be compared to a grade in academics any more than it can be compared to a batting average in baseball.
