Lucidity...its nice actually...amazing what sleep, shower, and some good coffee can do. I just need to stay away from protracted arguments with Balls. His brand of "logic" makes my head hurt....besides lots of work to do today..no time for BS on the internet.

You sure about this?

Positive.

And yeah it must have been 2002 I was thinking of. It was a night game in the swamp and it was hot. I remember Addai running for the go ahead TD late in the game.

So I got 2 years off of events that happend 11 years ago.

What part of that didn't you get?
quote:

In fairness, I believe you are talking about 2002. You seem to have lost focus after the 2002 season.

Yup. But then you rip me for the Domanick Davis quote about Marcus Randall throwing up in the huddle cause i was off the same 2 years. WTF?

Saban jumped his arse for laughing about that in the press about Randall. BTW what was Domanick's' favorite pet?

quote:

It was in the 80s and one of the most beautiful days ever.

Yeah cause I was right about Hurricane Ivan. It hit Gulf Shores on the 16th. Tubberville refused to move the game on the 18th. It was a beautiful day because it typically is for for few days after a hurricane passes through. It was one of the largest storms to hit the Gulf Coast and ripped Bama up. Anyone who drive through that miserable stretch up I65 will never forget that. We lost because of that bullchit call they made on Ronnie Prude at the end of the game field goal by Auburn where he shanked the kick and they gave him another shot at it cause of the penalty. That occurred in the Auburn student section endzone and we couldn't see shite from the other endzone where we sat.

quote:

John Thompson wasn't ran off. He was DC in name only for two weeks and quit to take the same gig with Arkansas. And the pick 6 was because Booty was terrible.

Really? That's funny cause it was in the paper. He and NIck were on a recruiting trip together. I guess it was before GPS was common. He got lost in the hood somewhere in BF Egypt and Nick lit his arse up in the car. He quit and was quoted in the paper as "I'll never work another day with that man in my life"

quote:

And the pick 6 was because Booty was terrible.

Really? That's funny cause Thompson was quoted in the paper as saying he studied Jimbo's opening play tendencies. He instructed the linebacker? if they lined up in that formation to jump the route. So what if it was a bad pass from Booty. They probably figured on that too.

quote:

fter the night game in Auburn I think Saban's first road game we lost a close one and the LSU fans were dancing in the streets and partying and blocking the barners from getting out like we had not a care in the world.

Getting beat in every phase of the game was a reason to celebrate? I remember a different mood.

Really? I can line up a dozen people who were there in the visitors RV section. We still laugh and joke about it to this day.

Getting beat 34-17 was a close one?

You got me there. Only reasons I can figure why I remember the game being close was after Dinardo a 34-17 score seemed close. Or I had a belly full of whisky, probably both.

Coming up in the next few days the ultimate LSU Football trivia contest. We'll see after that how much you guys think I'm an ULL troll or something.

Speaking of. Here's another taste. Even though it's baseball related. What famous person at ULL passed out in the stands in Omaha in 2000 and had to be evacuated?

The only reason I know that is cause I was there for LSU but not at the ULL game. I live in a house divided. My wife is big Ragin Cajun fan.

Here's another taste. What hotel did the team stay at in Omaha?

Trashing LSU incessantly and posting really long posts is a good way to make sure people tune you out. Have a great day.

Fine with me. I"m just a ULL troll anyway. Right?
ETA: I guess it's OK for Sal Minella to make really long posts about me. But not Ok for me to respond that he knows not what he talks about.

Ignore him...he's written some novelettes himself but fails to remember those...selective memory.

Are we speaking of the GD," after Dinardo a 34-17 score seemed close", who owned a 3-2 record over Auburn in his 5 yrs? Why don't you tell us the LSU record vs. Auburn the 5 games before GD.

I'm sure you can tell us the difference in our record vs. Auburn under GN and NS. If not, let me help...there was none..

Of course, that "poor" or "average" game day coach LM in his 1st 5 yrs was 4-1, but I'm sure he was just lucky.

It is a tad interesting that such a big time LSU fan would post as if GD got owned somehow by Auburn when in fact he did the owning as much Nick. Go figure........

Got me there buddy. All except for one thing. I wasn't comparing their Auburn records and never said I was. Other wise YOU need to need to compare his overal W-L record against Saban's.

Anyone that suffered through Dinardo's last 2 seasons knows that so apparently you didn't.

I was referring to his typical slug fests like 5-31 at Kentucky I went to and the Houston debacle that got him fired.

1. If Miles wins the Outback Bowl and the first game of the 2014 season, he is back at 80% win percentage at LSU.

Les took care of business today. He will be back at 0.80 after winning the season opener in 2014.

10-3 New Year Bowl winning rebuilding year with a decimated defense. Great time to be an LSU fan.
