I'm very happy I was wrong, but I am still a little shocked that we won. Especially how we won
Reasons:
D has sucked all year and this was the best offense we've played
The team quit in the 4th quarter vs Bama
We have a history of mailing it in after losing to Bama
I have almost no faith in Les to get the team ready
This are the reasons I thought we'd lose
Same here. The coaching staff actually had the team fired up and playing their asses off- which I didn't expect based on a 9 yr track record.

This is pretty much what I thought too. Damn glad I sat through the miserable weather and watched them kick some arse yesterday.
I was just plain wrong.

it was 18 with an Adjusted QBR of 30. 4 pts worse than last year. Personally, i hope he stays another year. Makes us looks great nationally.

Nothing to this pt in the season, as far as the D was concerned, gave me hope that they could stop JFF.......glad the D showed up....glad to be wrong about them......would love to doubt them every week if they play like they did yesterday.

I know right? Les literally NEVER has the team ready.

Because the idiots on this board know zero about football. Most of the real poeple who dont come in this hate board acually support LSU and thought they would win. Oh yeah, the horrible coach we have has lost twice in row exactly once!

Because our D has been awful

I'm not surprised LSU won, just a little surprised about the way they dominated on defense.

I picked our boys to beat A&M, and silence the only "quitters" in this conversation- those who gave up on this them.
They did exactly that in dominating fashion.
So here's the reason everyone thought they'd lose, IMHO: Many in our fanbase misjudged the character of their team.
You are Tiger fans, people. Give your team the benefit of the doubt. Wouldn't you agree this team deserves it after what you witnessed yesterday?

I thought TA&M's offense would run through LSU's defense like a hot knife through butter.
Instead, LSU's D puts up their best performance of the season.
I was not expecting that after what Ole Miss and Bama showed could be done against that unit.
Credit a number of young players stepping up and coach Chavis for his game plan.
For maybe the first time this year, the defense played with great focus and intensity against a very good offense.
Reminded me a little of the 2011 unit in terms of the way they were playing. Robinson and White look like our new Peterson and Claiborne.
It was fun watching Evans, a good receiver and solid pro prospect, get shutdown by a true freshman.
BRILLIANT PERFORMANCE young Mr. Robinson.

D had been playing terribly.
They woke up tonight
That's my reason. After the Bama loss, I was very discouraged because we didn't seem to have any fight in us, and I feared seeing another lackluster end of the season like last year.
Kudos to the coaches and players for continuing to work hard and not packing it in this time around.

Well, we haven't looked that good on D all year long.
And JFF was averaging 41 ppg coming in.
Not to mention, our offense seemed to take a back step over the past few games.
But so what? D looked inspired last night, played lights out, and the offense simply did what they planned to do- Control the line of scrimmage, eat up the clock, and grind out the win.

"So why did everyone think LSU would lose"
Because most people on this site watch 1 college football game a week.
Vegas had it right. They must be sunshine pumpers.

I didn't know if we would win or lose because I wasn't sure who would show up last night.
We definitely have the talent to beat anyone in the country but after watching the debacle in Oxford it's hard to gauge this team.
I'm still sick we lost to an Ole Miss team with their horrible defense.

Me too.
It's obvious why most people thought we would lose. A bad loss to bama, and most fans thought the team would mail it in with no NC or SECC on the line. A defense that has been playing bad against a heisman winner at QB.
We are a bad road team with inexperience on D this year is my conclusion for the season. We should steam roll Arky at home.
