how much are TAF fees?

More than the cost of my tickets in 301. It's not an insignificant amount if money.

Is it plausible to find tickets for 50 a piece? Will people be selling on Nicolson?

A&M fans make big Texas money. These prices are not a problem. I travel to almost every away game and every SEC we have been to are shocked at the nunmber of fans and the money we piss away.

There are lots of older people that don't sell their tickets on the Internet. Sometimes you have whole families that go, but there is just one diehard out of the group. If there is a hint of bad weather, that person usually sells all of the tickets that won't get used. That person goes to the game and unloads all of the tickets outside of the stadium before going in. TV + day + bad weather usually equals lots of inexpensive or cheap tickets for those that are patient leading right up to the game. There will be tickets out there.

Ive always disliked the "Face + TAF fees" If i pay TAF fees I should have the rights to the game every year. The face value is the ONE TIME price to go to the game. IMHO

Here is the deal though, you cant get face value for half the damn home games. So if you do sell your uf or tamu tickets for face, youve essentially lost your money. So why even purchase them? People are ponying up the cash to buy season tickets, and it is their prerogative to, but if they werent, we wouldnt be a decent program. So if someone wants to charge you face + the taff fees, you should pony up. we could just get rid of taff altogether and go back into the dumps. Id also have to think that if no one bought season tickets, the face value would go up. They know they would sell, but they would have to offset the cost somewhere. So instead of Me paying $200/ticket, the face value may go up to like $70 for ooc and $100 for sec. still making it cheaper for people who usually do buy season tickets, but more expensive for the people who dont.

Im in 302 and my costs come out to be $200 per ticket per game. Yet the face value is $40 and $70 for those. So people want me to spot them $160 and $130 to go to the game. frick no.

If I buy a Taylormade driver for 400.00 online and after shipping pay 440.00. And want to resell..with the TE logic I will sell it for 1000.00.

But now your Taylormade driver has a $40 fitting fee. So now your $400 Taylormade driver is really a $440 driver with $40 shipping, Would you just bite the fitting fee and lose $40?

I'm just shocked at the supposed "market" for the tickets for this game.

If the forecast doesn't change, face is going to be over-paying.

Florida tickets were going for well under face everywhere except west-lowers, and at that point LSU still had championship aspirations and Florida was ranked.

If the opponent isn't Bama there is no need to ever pay more than face in TS, with the rare exception of an Arkansas game when the excess tickets just never make it to campus because of the holidays.

My daughter sold her 2 A&M tickets for $1550 on EBay the day after the Bama game. The tickets are greatseats (45 yd line, West side, 40 something rows up), but why would anyone pay that much? Crazy!

If there's anyone in the lower east or west side planning on not attending, can I trade my two uppers for your two lowers? I'd rather my seats be empty than yours.

it all comes down to that cold front. If it is slower than expected rain will come after the game hopefully

if at the time expected it will come through before the game but lingering showers behind the front will bring the rain on the game.

note Weather.gov shows heavy rain during the day till 6pm CST, than light rain.

This is insane!!! WAAAYYY too much money for the seats.

Sec 410 ain't that great, but at least it's in the bowl. No way in hell would I pay $400 a seat to sit in nose bleed. I did it once, never again. I did not feel part of the game. Band/crowd noise was muted, it sucked.

It's Louisiana REVISED Statute, not REVENUE Statute.

If i have extra tickets for sale, i try to sell them for what i can get for them. Just business. If they don't sell, no big deal. I will usually "give" them to a Father/son on the way in.
