Can Saints win games away from dome, no. This gives Carolina the advantage abc puts them in good position to win this division

Go ahead and check the road records in the nfl over the last few years and get back to me.

Denver has played a crap-arse schedule - and as a Raiders fan - this is true.

Denver will lose to NE this weekend and would lose to about 4 NFC teams who are just playing a different brand of ball right now over the best the AFC has to offer. Plus, who in their right mind trusts Manning in January? That Denver D isn't all that great...giving up a million points to the freakin' Cowboys??? Raiders could score on them and we can't score on anyone!

7. KC
6. Denver
5. New England
4. S.F.
3. Panthers
2. Saints
1. Seattle

I think that's a fair list.

Denver is the best team, Seattle should be over us. I might have had KC over us as well. We'll get this 3a and 3b thing worked out in the next few weeks.

Road warriors: The Saints improved their NFL-best record on the road to 23-11 since 2009. The New England Patriots were just one-half game behind, but they lost at Cincinnati on Sunday to fall to 22-13 on the road since 2009. ... Up next for the Saints? Another tough road test -- at New England.

Since then both the Saints and Pats have lost two road games. Not sure who else is close.

San Fran isn't better than Carolina. I doubt they are better than KC either.

I disagree. I think Crabtree is that key to their offense and it will be a big boost when he comes back in the next few weeks. To each his own tho.

Kansas City... I was impressed with their defense vs. Denver. Front seven is very solid. Secondary is ok. Their offense is still bleh.

This might be a foreign concept to some, but just because "Team A beats Team B on X day" doesn't automatically make team A better.

Carolina is a hot team right now and they are currently on the same tier as SF and NE, IMO. I just think SF and NE are slightly better overall.

I understand that, but Carolina beat both of them and has shown they are a quality team. To me that proves Carolina is better. Now if New England lost to someone like Buffalo I get your point, but Carolina isn't Buffalo.

Good enough to fizzle out before the end of the season and loose a first round playoff game.

and to think, we're doing all of this with a banged up offensive line and a bunch of "recycled" receiving options. imagine if we finally use a first round pick on a top WR

this team could certainly be around for a while

My question is how much better can Carolina get? Or are they currently playing at or near their limit?

We all know that San Francisco can get/play much better than they currently are, Kaepernick getting it going, Crabtree returning.

I'm not sure how much better this current Patriots team can get due to all their injuries.

Gotta be playing near as good as they can get. Their defense is pretty damn good and their offense is as good as it can be right now. Cam isn't bad but his receivers aren't all that great.
