I've been waiting 24 years for the karma on that to bite them in the arse, AND I frickING LOVE IT!!!!!
Some of you will never understand. When I was a kid, the Saints were pitiful. I remember being 8 and thinking that going 8-8 in 1979 was the precipice for greatness. You can't imagine what I felt the next year. The 1987 season was unbelievable and the Vikings took a huge dump on it. Subsequently, We could never break through and one of the reasons was the glad handing that seemed to go on between the refs and the 49ers as noted above.

What about when Pierre Thomas was speared in the head and knocked out in San Francisco for the playoffs??? THAT was a clear head to head shot that wasn't called.
