I think it's plain dumb to say you shouldn't offer a scholly to someone that didn't want to earn it. I know it didn't happen so this is just a hypothetical situation but what if LF, TB or one of the other big dogs didn't want to earn a scholly or come to camp? Marlon Humphrey didn't go to anyone's camp or clinic but I'll bet any amount of money he has an offer from every team he wants one from. Again, I know these prospects aren't the same but plenty of kids have been given rides and not made to compete or earn them.

Again, not attending camp is not the reason he didn't get an offer. He didn't get an offer because they thought a bunch of other WRs, several of them in Louisiana, were better than him. He could have come to camp to prove otherwise, but he didn't. It is as simple as that. We offer a bunch of players every year that haven't camped.

Go to Wal-Mart and get you a Bama shirt like the other sidewalks in north LA. Just do us all a favor and keep that shirt on when they struggle to find a QB half as good as AJ and the west becomes an AU-LSU battle again. I've never seen so many grown men acting like teenage girls with their first period.

I am sick of all this crap over CR.

Let him go, If he wants to tie his future to Sims then let him.

Sims will either be a thorn in our side like Norwood or Saban will process him, I am thinking the later.

We need to get tougher and process some guys ourselves.

If you want or need something to worry over, then we have plenty of issues on defense.

About the time Rantards found the recruiting board and started defending a backup kicker over Sims. As soon as he committed I said this was bad for LSU. It was blown off. Then Cam to Bama. He says in his own words Sims to Bama was big. Nah he's a liar and was just bought. People with actual insight try to bring info and it's shot down because it's not the company line that is spewed for damage control. shite gets old.

I've been on this board since it was created.

What gets old is you trying to pass off your insight as some revelation and then shite on the program when you think the staff screws your WM boys.

Sitting on the recruiting board talking about the program burning and being 5th in the west is no insight. That's what the rant is for. The problem is you value your "insight" too much.

Sims isn't even in the same stratosphere as any of the prospects you mentioned. Stupid comparison is stupid.

So why did Cam transfer to WM instead of continuing to play with Sims if they are so tight together?

I'm starting to think C-Rob has hearts drawn all over his binder with "I heart Sims" written in all of them.

Company line #2. It's just rinse and repeat over and over.

Cool. I bring no value. I won't worry with it anymore. Frees up a lot of time. I'll just lurk and wait for all the amazing posts you bring to the site.

Ok. We get it. It was a mistake to not offer Sims.
Les is burning the program to the ground. #Decline. Rinse. Repeat.

He also said in his own words that he wasn't a lock to Alabama before his announcement and after Sims committed there and everyone knows that was bullshite. Most people knew in the Spring where he was going, the Alabama fans on here weren't just making it up.

You have to admit this is a bit melodramatic though.

Listen, I'm not on the "lynch Miles" bandwagon...but you really think Nick will have any difficulty bringing in any goddamn quarterback in the country?

Wouldn't want a waste of a scholarship like Sims even if it got us Robinson.

...and plenty of kids will be offered scholarships after attending camps who wouldn't have been offered if they had skipped.

You have no point.
