CROB going to Bama is much more than Sims. I guess everyone has forgot about the handlers?

Ofcourse we have. We do it every year and will continue to do it. The camp wasn't the only reason he didn't get an offer. He didn't get an offer because they didn't see enough in their evaluation, on film, or in the previous camp to justify giving him an offer over multiple players in state they rated higher.

And Robinson was going to Alabama long before Sims was offered and would still be going there even if Sims was committed here.

318Boss I agree with you. It is not like Sims is a scrub! They should have offered Sims. We cannot continue to let top talent leave without putting up much of a fight. Especially to Bama!

WTF? There are a few guys in this class I would take Sims over, especially if it meant getting CRob.

Our staff did the right thing, Cam or no Cam

Is he better than Noil, Dupre, Quinn or Quille? No, not even close. Is he better than Chark, that is the million dollar question but Chark is an athlete that could play DB along with WR. Sims in no way shape or form could play D.

Let him go to Bama. He obviously did not want to come to LSU or he would have camped here twice like he did at Bama. It must bother him though that Bama told Dupre he was their number one target and Dupre shot them down and only after that Bama gave him a committable offer. It is what it is but he will always have to live with that as much as he loved Bama, they did not reciprocate until they were turned down by the kids they really wanted.

If we had Sims it means we probably lose one of Dupre, Noil, or Quinn, who are all better players and also from in state, and we still wouldn't have Robinson.

Cam Robinson needs to grow up quick. If he gets drafted will he make sure Sims is drafted later to the same team? Like others have said, probably was going to Bama anyway. Real immature if that was the real reason for picking Bama.

If we had to offer everyone's friend just to get them to commit we would only get half of the guys we actually wanted. I applaud the staff for not caving in to this.

I simply cannot recall a real situation where someone changed their mind on where they wanted to play football, just because of a 'friend' he wanted to go to school with...besides, it sounds kind of ghey anyway...

Yeah, I'm aware.

Ehh, I'd debate that. But could see that too. Don't think it would've been as easy a decision though, by any means.

So you think we shouldn't offer lanard fourmette?

Yes. A kid chose Auburn over Clemson because of chick fil a. I heard a story of a kid in the 80's that picked Clemson over Wake because their cafeteria had a soft serve ice cream machine. (FYI- he really, seriously wanted to go to wake) I'm sure kids this fickle have illustrious careers.

We have three WRs committed now and Dupre and Noil are not in that group so we wouldn't miss out on them by offering Sims. Sims is not the target CRob is. We got manhandled on the line against Bama and now we lose the best Oline in the country to them. I will be the first to admit, I'm bitter. Tired of this machine that Bama has and just want to see the staff step up and do what it takes to even the playing field. Their Oline and Dline killed us. Doesn't matter who we have at receiver or runningback if we can't block them.

Well good thing we have by far two of the best in the nation coming in between Clapp and Brumfield with very good possibility of adding another really good Lineman.

ETA: Also, Chark is an athlete and Upchurch is an H-Back type of player.

The only true WR we have committed is Quinn.

Cam Robinson is FOS! I do not believe a thing that liar says. He is so close to his buddy he abandoned him in high school. I cannot believe anyone would comment on a thing he says. Some of you really need to use some common sense. Please!
