That's so sweet. Maybe we should've bought CR some Cam Sims footie pajamas. Or at least, a "My Buddy" doll.
Screw him. Gimmie that mean looking SOB from Idaho on my o line.

If offering Sims would have locked up Rob or Hootie for thst matter, it would have been well worth it. Package deals happen all the time. Bama knew it was worth it.

Bama is also loaded at every position, which gives them an opportunity to gamble. We are losing our top 3 WRs and have 5 star (I include Quinn as one) studs in our own backyard. We need to capitalize on that.

How can anyone justify not offering Sims? Not offering Sims was insane. I am not going to call out players but you can just look at the roster and see that the staff is not nailing every evaluation. Some of the missed evaluations were camp guys at that. There is no excuse not to nail down the state in a year like this.

Sims has talent and the staff's recruiting record in North LA is a mixed bag; therefore, you offer the guy.

it's a recruiting strategy for sure.. if we get a kid that is just as talented as sims or less; then i would be the first to say we messed up.
our staff could have wrapped up hootie, crob and sims.. but time will tell. we still have to see what/who we get in place of offering him

Offer a liability at the position due to speed and also risk the chance of losing an in-state kid who is better at the position all for one kid.

I can tell why you're not running a football program.

LSU (and Bama) have certainly played along with the offer to Lanard Fournette. Kid is not very good if we're honest here.

Ask Clemson how well that worked for them.

We would have wound up with Sims and Robinson would be at Bama.

If Sims had wanted to come here then I'd agree with this, but the dude did everything he could to indicate he wasn't coming. Recruiting is a game of managing egos, and sometimes the best move, talent be damned, is not to play.

I swear CRob could tweet out that all LSU had to do was have Miles give him a blowjob and he'd commit and you'd have people saying "How can anyone justify Miles holding out?"

Now list the OL better than Cam. Truthfully, not bitter crap because he's going elsewhere. It was dumb to offer a 2nd string kicker instead of an All American WR that was best friends with your #2 target. It's over and done with now. Maybe LSU will squeak into the Chic Fil A bowl this year. Woohoo

Our coaches evaluated him 2 years ago and he was too slow.

Our coaches told him to come test again at camp and earn an offer.

Just like they told: Mathieu, brumfield, Quinn and a TON of past, present, and future tigers.

He chose not to. He didn't want it bad enough.

If CRob is gonna let sims make his decisions, they can both gtfo.

Preach it, bro. I'm glad Sims will ride on C-Rob's coat tails, maybe he'll be in his entourage when CR is in the league

Since the staff has been recruiting CRob since 9th grade then it shouldn't be to hard to figure out who his close friends are. But its part of recruiting it happens. No sense in crying over spilled milk

So what happens when Sims accepts then CRob still goes to Bama? Lose-lose.

Spot on.

Cam is the best OL in the country, sims proved on the field he deserves an offer, we've offered people before that didn't come to camp before. This move is something that will have a bigger impact on the program than people realize.
