Zach played a great game. Too bad he didn't have any protection near the end. Now it's gut check time. We need a strong recruiting class!

If it makes him feel any better, he wouldn't have won a championship had he stayed at UGA either.

Yep, I felt for the guy too after watching him try to get up off the ground.
You'd think one of his OL's would have helped him.
He's a class act, hope he gets his reward in the pros.

I'm gonna be rooting for Zach in the pros big time. I feel for the guy. He's played out of his mind this year (say what you want about Ole miss) and this defense is just terrible. Absolutely sucks guys bolted to the NFL early just to be backups in most cases.

He played well. However, I think he's been getting overly credited throughout the year.
I can't blame him for wanting to always throw to Landry or OBjr but that killed us last night. We saw Durall open enough to catch the TD but there were numerous times ZM threw into double coverage that he's lucky weren't int's. Dickson was open countless times last and never got targeted. Why would a TE want to come to LSU based on what we've seen this year?

I actually think he can't get enough credit. Dude gets destroyed at time but still plays extremely well. I know he's had some bumps, but after the previous 5 years, I don't think anyone needs to be pointing the finger at him for "bad QB play." This years let downs have been 100% on the defense and at times, the offensive line.

you are right om Mett, but besides the talent gap, I saw a coaching gap.

MAybe, but we will lose just as much offensively this offseason as we did defensively last season.
Next year will be ugly

Daisy pumping ZM. Consider this... something is seriously wrong with ZM, not just physically or psychologically but with his relationship with the team. Last year he was physically isolated in a phone booth and communicated with no one on the bench. This year I've never ever seen him talk or communicate with his offensive line. And then he shows them up with theatrics? .. essentially pointing the finger while giving no kudos.
Plus his inability to shake even modest pressure or remain upright with even a two-handed touch hit...
What OL would give a shite about a player like that or his self obsessed ego? Why NOT let the opponent kill him in the waning stages of a lost cause?

I don't agree. He had a chance to win the Georgia game but threw a bad pass at the end on fourth down. He lost the Ole Miss game with 3 picks in first half. And in this last game had 4 intetceptions dropped and made bad reads and missing a wide open tightend that could have brought lsu to a 1 score deficit. He isn't a winner in my book plays for his own stats and if you talked to players on the team they would agree with me.

ZM was solid. Big improvement over what was here the last few years, but he shite the bed vs old piss

Huh? You're describing Jordan Jefferson not Mett. When has he shown any of his team member's up with theatrics? Several times I've seen him talking with the other offense players on the sidelines. If he got in the OL's faces kast night for folding like a cheap tent, then I don't blame him. They were supposed to be a strength for this team and they've turned out to be a huge liability.

Have to agree with this. Don't see very much success in NFL. Doesn't have pocket awareness or movement.

The 3 best players on offense.

it's pretty fricking obvious that LSU's defensive underclassmen saw that nothing had changed in ZMs first year under center and said "screw this, I'm not going through another year of college ball for this" and bolted before Cameron could revamp the offense.
Not so fast my friend.
If you are a projected high draft pick, you take the damned money and leave. I'm quite sure that their motivations have little to nothing to do with anything other than their opportunity to play for big money in the NFL.
