If we're talking about a one-game scenario, yes. There are probably about 10 teams out there that could

This.

Stanford lost to Notre Dame last year.

Sure they could, but they have no shot at getting the chance the way things are

Indeed. The replay crew really came to play last year and shut the Cardinal down at the end.

Bama would destroy Stanford.

Honestly they are just a carbon copy of Bama except that they're worse at almost every position besides QB.

frick no Stanford couldn't beat alabama. Not once not ever with these current squads. Stanford would get their teeth kicked in every time. They aren't some greet team because they beat Oregon. Oregon was as usual over rated.

I think we could. Doubt we will get the chance. I'll be happy with the Rose Bowl

No, Bama's defense would shut them down more than Stanford's defense could shut down Bama.

I'd say 21-10 Bama.

A non alumnus cajun from louisiana who worked as a cop in tx and moved back to louisiana upon retirement killed some trees.

fricking cajun sidewalkers.

At the start of the year... Definitely. Now probably not.

I do think they are solid enough to maybe win 2 or 3 out of 10 against Bama. They're a damn good team that just plays very solid football. That'll usually give you a chance.

That's a compliment to Stanford. Saying Gaffney even in the same breath as Yeldon is a disgrace to Yeldon and saying Hogan is in the same sentence as McCarron is a joke. Stanford is closer to Notre Dame than Bama.

No. Not this year. Last year they had a punchers chance. They lost 75% of their pass catchers from last season and losing Gardner for the year really hampers any chance they'd have to pressure McCarron.

Only two teams have proven that they aren't afraid of Bama, LSU and Johnny Manzi..I mean A&M.
