People do realize that if Oregon loses, ohio state is gonna move that much closer to being in the title game right? Spare me.
Only if 2 of Bama/FSU/Baylor lose also.

I would be shocked and very impressed if the Furdies shut down Oregon's O two years in a row.

Oregon 38
Stanford 10
Stanford is not a legit threat. They are fraud. Absolutely nothing to be afraid of or even prepare for.

Well, I'm certainly happy to be one of the stupidest predictors here today. (so far, anyway)
Go tree.

Stanford played a great game and played to their strength. Their O line is the best in the country, and their front seven was nails last night. They were wearing down a bit late and Oregon capitalized on that, but unlike the debacle in SLC, Shaw relied on his running game and Tyler Gaffney to win it for him. Colossal win and every FSU fan owes the Cardinal a beer.

bump for all of us that didn't buy into the Oregon hype AGAIN
Oregon played UCLA and Washington after Stanford did, and David Shaw is a hell of a better coach than Mark Helfrich.

Gave that gimmicky team too much credit.

True. It would take Oregon 3 games to hit 40 on a legit defense.

This game had bad nefarious voodoo all over it.
The Ducks (8-1, 5-1) certainly had their chances early, advancing inside the Stanford five twice and coming away empty handed.
Ball game.
Mariota also missed a wide-open Huff inside the 10 on the game’s opening drive, badly under-throwing him on third down, forcing the Ducks to punt.
Ball game.
It was a night when seemingly nothing went the Ducks’ way, at least through the first three quarters.
Tony Washington had a sure interception go through his hands. “It was shocking. It looked like he was throwing it right to me,’’ Washington said. “I reacted too late.’’
Ifo Ekpre-Olomu had an interception overturned because he was called for pass interference.
Ball game. (Stanford then scored a TD)
And De’Anthony Thomas fumbled at the two yard line.
Ball game.
“When we look at the film, there will be a lot of would haves, should haves, could haves, but unfortunately, you don’t get do overs,’’ Oregon coach Mark Helfrich said.
If just ONE of those things happen like normal.
Oregon WINS.

Except it didn't happen, it's why you play the game.

If Kevin Hogan was worth any kind of damn, that game could have got really ugly. He is awful.
