is the check bounced that is a felony as over 500 bucks in Louisiana call the DA and he will get your money. If he stopped payment still call the DA and ask for his help.

As was stated earlier you need to verify with the bank that the check was cancelled or NSF'd.

File a felony theft complaint against this person. Make sure you keep copies of everything you sent him, and get a tape recorder that you can hook to your telephone and record any conversation you have with this guy; this is legal in Louisiana.

I had to learn this the hard way as well. Very similar story with a custom mauser rifle. Not a fun place to be, but finally had to take my brother who's a deputy and get CASH money.

Here is the latest update.
I just got off the phone with him and he said he apologized. Said it was lane who I had been dealing with and that he hadn't talked to me in weeks. Which every time I talked to some the past 2 they said there name was Lane. I asked Mike what Lane's last name was and he said Timmons. Mike then goes on to ask me about this NSF check thing like he has no idea about it. He said how did you get a check? I said you wrote it out to my Dad while he stood In front of you. Then he said who signed I said you did, then all of the sudden he remembers of yeah I gave him permission to. Now he wants my address and wants to mail me a certified check on Monday. He said he will call me this weekend to get my address. I brought up all the crimes he's committed in the past while talking to him and he said that has nothing to do with this and I run a legitimate business building deer stands LMAO! He end the conversation saying all I wanted do is build you some deer stands and was like NO CHIT!!!!!! Really?????? And all I wanted to do was to buy some deer stands:mad: He also stated that Lane had been fired along with what sounds like everyone else. I have no idea what to believe at this point. Oh one more thing he called me from his "sons phone" lol.

BBB is so much BS. Does anyone really look for BBB when they need stuff? I have never once looked for it or anything else like it. Why? Because people constanly threaten to call the BBB when I dont give them free shite that they do not deserve for any reason and becasue this arse hole apparently advertises he is BBB whatever and you still got ripped off. If someone dosent take a CC or a personal check from me the F*ck em or COD. Ill build it my self or go get it at Academy.
