Ive had a Ram lifted 8" and Ive had a Jeep with a custom 6" long arm. My current and all future trucks will be leveled, if that.

I had a lifted truck once and it was cool and looked good and all but it got to where I hated having to drive it everyday.
P.S. I do quite a but of driving daily. It just wasn't for me.

I have only seen 2 or 3 in my life, but I dont hang out with a bunch of cheesedicks. Those are mainly the ones that are in car shows and whatnot
I got stuck pretty bad a few years ago and some dude with a 250 on 40s came to pull me out. I was thinking, "Yeah cool, this will just take a second and maybe I can see him go through it after". I had no idea who he was and hadn't ever seen his truck before. Much to my dismay, he got stuck on the wet grass about 100ft away from me because it was a 2wd. The mud by him was probably an inch thick and I was in about 7ft of mud in the ditch behind me:

Fortunately for him it was only wet grass. My buddy pulled him out with a 2wd Tacoma 4cyl with Swampers on the back

4 inch lift 33" BFG Mud terrains. IMHO get 6" lift minimum, the price difference is negligible if any.

this thread makes me miss my old truck

4.5 fabtech. I loved the lift when I bought the truck 5 years ago. I thought I was being sensible after driving my old truck with 10inches and 41s. now Im 27 and wish I would have just leveled it and gone with 35s.

Serious question: How do you get in and out of the cab of something like that?

That Tacoma actually had them. It is honestly night and day compared to any other mud tire I have used or seen used

So I don't disappoint El Josey: 4" Rough Country lift and tires are Nitto Trail Grapplers 295/65r20 (35.4")
Nice looking ride!

The most you should do is maybe a leveling kit. Anything more than a leveling kit you will probably regret.

Agreed. Level it and stuff some tires. It will look great, be more practical, and his kill ratio will still be good. In the end, you both profit.
Thanks guys!
