Sick of the Saban butt-hurt

I've been biting my tongue (figuratively) all day, but have seen enough to finally post about it. Our so-called fans who want to bash Miles and say our program is in some decline are seriously ate up with the butt-hurt for Saban because of the success he's having at Bama. What these people aren't fessing up to is that Saban at Bama is just a perfect storm. He's a good coach and great recruiter at a school that gives him unparalleled resources and lots of tradition. That means recruits all over the nation are trying to get there. On the other hand, lets look at what this demi-god was capable of here:
2000: 8-4, Squeaked by Houston, Lost to UAB, and got destroyed by UF. Beat Ga Tech in Chicken Bowl
2001: 10-3, Squeaked by Kentucky, Lost to Ole Miss and got destroyed by UF. Beat Illinois in Sugar Bowl
2002: 8-5, Squeaked by Ole Miss and Kentucky (Bluegrass Miracle), Beat by Auburn & destroyed by Bama. Lost Cotton Bowl to Texas
2003: 13-1 (BCS Champs), Lost to UF @ home and only played in BCSCG because USC lost a game. Beat OU in Sugar Bowl/BCSCG
2004: 9-3, Squeaked by Oregon St (thanks Alexis Serna), UF, Troy, and Ole Miss, Lost to Auburn and destroyed by UGA. Lost to Iowa in Cap One Bowl on Hail Mary
Combined record: 48-16, 3-2 in Bowls, several humiliating losses and some close escapes against inferior teams. Keep that in perspective when you want to bash Miles and claim the program is in decline.
Now I'll hang up and listen.

He was building a program at LSU. Try again.

LSU doesn't have this?

although they get paid approx the same...saban is way way way ahead of miles and its not even a debate. did you see how they shut down o miss and arkansas....they also lost players to nfl. they just reload but we dont. i'm not ashamed to say but hope we had saban back. i heard he wanted back from dolphins but lsu admin didnt want him. what a dumb decision.
and oh Oklahoma State is going up and LSU is going down..want to know the common reason..our 4 million dollar guy

Do you know what the Miles haters hate the most. It's one sentence.
LSU has never been more successful than when Les Miles has been the coach.
They also hate this one.
Since Les Miles was hired at LSU , no other coach or program has beaten more ranked teams.
These are facts. Do you Miles haters know what facts are?

The Miles lovers used to say that Miles was just as good, maybe better, than Saban. Now they're saying that Miles may not be as good as Saban, but then, no one else is either. So even his most ardent supporters have changed their tune in the face of overwhelming evidence.

Saban built the program and Miles inherited it. Why are people so dumb? If Miles hadn't have come in directly at the prime of Saban's success he'd probably average 7-8 wins a year.

How do you know that criticism of Coach Miles is rooted in, how did you phrase this imaginary affliction, "Saban butt-hurt"?
HAVE YOU ANY OBJECTIVE EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT YOUR CONCLUSORY ACCUSATION, MISTER ??
By the way, GREAT troll-job. I like your style.

He has rebuilt 2 losing programs...every true lsu fan should be thankful for what he did while at lsu.

He is the best coach, recruiter in college football, we have a great man, person but just a good coach, and it is not changing

Bama has won 3 out of the last 4 NC and is working on their 3rd in a row under Nick Saban,Sabans made Miles look like a clown in the LSU/Bama NC game...I'm nearly 100% sure if he would have stayed her at LSU...we would be where Bama is right now...you are the one that's butt hurt over Saban...time to let it go...Miles is a good coach, don't get me wrong, but Saban is better.

It all would have gone away except for 1/9 when Miles stood on the sidelines with a blank stare and a total inability to handle the situation.
He had us totally unprepared for that game and refused to make any adjustments. Just left JJ in the game and continued to hand it off in the gut. Showed no "want" to win that game while under a public microscope. He choked and BAD.
Last fall - chance at some redemption. All those great Soph players that are now Jrs knock the crap out of AL except when the last 2 minutes of each half hit - BINGO, 3rd and Chavis. We blow a chance to get back to the big game.
All the Jrs say enough is enough with this coaching staff and bolt to the NFL. Even Chris Faulk leaves instead of coming back to take a shot at the 1st round and big dollars.
Miles had 2 shots in less than a year to get rid of the Saban ghost and failed.
He plays LSU against ARK and now has a contract that is basically paying him a half million a game for the rest of his career. LSU has him regardless of whether we go 6 -6 or 14 -0.
In the meantime, Saban with one BCSNC at AL gets 2 more the last 2 seasons at the expense of LSU and Miles. He is sitting at #1 kicking the crap out of teams while Miles loses to an average GA team and of all things, OM who is playing walk on freshman and without 6 starters.
To add insult, we have one of our own kids being the top player in the country at a franchise OT position bolting to AL with 2 other kids from LA and another handful down to LSU and AL.
You think people might be saying WTF???

You forgot "rescued LSU from irrelevance and built the foundation for current success."
So two SEC titles and a NC in 5 years after the combined jerk off of the Archer, Hallman and Dinardo years is now meaningless?

You cannot be serious.

Nick Saban- 4 National Titles
Les Miles- 1 National Title
Try again?? Any LSU fan that says they would rather Miles than Saban needs their head examined.

Yeah it has nothing to do with an incompetent coach, it's all about Saban envy. There's a long list of coaches out there other than Saban that can get a team ready to play an inferior opponent with injuries and not get shutout at the half and can figure out how to get a play called in time.
Oregon could run about 15 plays in the time it took us to have a TV timeout and then a Les Miles Timeout
