Never listened to him.

What are your favorite tracks?

Here are a few from "The Undisputed Truth" but to be honest it's hard to pick out a few that stand out from that album since the album is an unbelievable one

Truth is here

Uncle Sam Goddamn

Daylight

The Puzzle

That album will change your life like it did mine so its hard for me to pick a fav song of his

Love Atmosphere. Have all of their albums dating back to Overcast circa '97. Sean's lyrics are extremely relatable. Saw them at Spanish Moon in '05 with Blueprint and they absolutely killed it. Most fun I've ever had at a hip-hop show.

I love pretty much everyone on Rhymesayers, with my favorite rapper of all-time being Aesop Rock.

I actually scored a purple and gold Rhymesayers shirt from Fifth Element recently. It was a tribute to the old Minnesota Lakers colors, but I'll be damn if it doesn't look exactly like an LSU shirt. Win.

I think Macklemore is good. But Atmosphere is great, been listening to Slug for a long time and he never dissappoints. Also a huge Brother Ali fan!

They're way better than Macklemore for my money.

And I honestly feel like Macklemore has ripped off their style quite a bit. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but I doubt it.

Macklemore has said before that Slug was a major influence... so was Sage Francis as well as most so-called "emo-rappers" of that era. He ripped them off as much as they ripped off Big Daddy Kane.

I honestly think that he has no equal. I listen to a shite-ton of alternative hip-hop over the past decade+, and I've heard no one that can match his combination of lyrical complexity and flow.
