Watched the old Nicholas Cage flick 8MM the other day. Pretty good flick overall. That movie has a pretty dark and violent last 30 minutes. Just when you think the violence is over it ramps right up again!
I forgot about how many people were in the movie that later became big stars including James Gandolfini, Norman Reedus, Joaquin Phoenix and Peter Stormare.

yeah, this movie is fricked up. It's been awhile since I have seen it, but the scene towards the end in Gandofini's house where that record stops playing....

Cool movie, and one that not many people I knew had seen (or heard of really).

I talked my mom into taking me and a friend to this movie when we were 12. Had no idea what it was really about.
I enjoyed the movie then and still think it's a great movie. I had good taste even as a 12 year old.

Some people live in worlds that are totally different than most of us. A number are just born into horrific lives. I think seeing anything close to that would leave a big scar on my psyche.
