I'm not buying into this Florida State team just yet.

Clemson is more experienced, has proven more this year, and will be playing at home.

They'll be ready for this one.

It's hard to tell a lot about Clemson. They're really living off of that Georgia game so far because, since then, all they've played is South Carolina State and four of the worst teams in the ACC (possibly THE worst four). And then in those games, NC State and Boston College were much closer than they had any right to be.

Clemson plays well at home at night, so it'll be tough for Florida State. But I think the Noles win by a touchdown, and Winston outplays Boyd.

FSU defense > UGA defense.
FSU offense ~ old UGA offense.

FSU 38
Clemson 27

Clemson has the edge at QB, better skill positions, better pass rush, and they are a different team at night at home.

Winston has looked great, but he's still a freshman and he isn't JFF. He is much more likely to make mistakes than Boyd in this game. Boyd has played well in big games (but occasionally shite the bed).

Clemson will score on FSU like they score on everybody, and what's different for them this year is they have greatly improved their ability to get pressure on the QB. Their new DC has really changed the mindset of that defense.

FSU hasn't been tested all season Clemson has. FSU has been overrated the past 3 years anyways so I'm safely backing Clemson by more than 7.

At night, on the road, yea I'd probably take a 5th year senior over a RSFR. Having said that, Bama knows better than to just immediately dismiss RSFR on the road.

better skill positions

I don't think we do. We have Sammy who's better than anything they have, but overall I'd give the edge to FSU.

better pass rush

And it aint even close. Our DL works theirs this year (for the first time in a long time).

This is the biggest concern of the game for (which is stunning considering our offense was supposed to be all-world this season). We've struggled to replace some key skill position losses and have been banged up on the OL. If we get the Clemson O that we got against UGA we'll win. If we get the one we've seen the last two weeks, we won't.

I didn't like the Venables hire at the time, but he's done an exceptional job. I'm hoping he takes this personally after FSU's offense trainwrecked us in the 2nd half last year for 5 straight TDs or something absurd like that.

Tough to say on this one. I think Clemson wins based in it being at Clemson.

So happy that teams are relevant in the ACC finally. We needed some credibility here. Even if it's not a BCS NC it's at least widely recognized that they are serious contenders.

Those ole sons of Clem better get their licks in this year because they go to Georgia and FSU next year with a first time starter at QB and you know South Carolina will be ready to extend their streak to 6 over them.

FSU is going to take this game. I hate to say it but Dabo has that Big Game Bob aspect to him. He can't win the truly big ones.

Awwwwww shite. I was backing FSU this weekend until now. Time to run to the betting window and throw down on Clemson. The great and mighty PEEJ has spoken.

The same one that gave up 34 points to Boston College versus Clemson's 14? FSU gave up 489 yards to Boston College, Clemson gave up 286 yards.

Why are you more confident in FSU's defense?

If anything I'm more confident in Clemson's defense and FSU's offense. Our defense has been on point lately like their offense, and our offense has struggled.

This isn't the FSU defense of old.
