Love reading OB, and think y'all would greatly help. Just started shopping for a bay boat (20-24 ft preferred) and would like some recommendations on make/models. So, what say you?

One that I have found, but do not know much about blazer bays:
Blazer Bay 2400

Also, price range $40-60k.

I would say refine your question if you want some real answers. 20-24 feet and 40-60000 describes almost every new bay boat on the market. What you're going to get is a pecker measuring contest out of a question this vague.

Where are you going to fish
Target species
How many people
How often
How far is your commute
Storing or trailering.

There is a world of difference between a 20 footer and a 24. How many people do you think will be fishing with you at any given time?

Lots of options in the price range and size. FWIW, we have a 2009 Blue Wave Pure Bay 2200 well equipped with a 250 yammer-hammer. It's been a great boat...an identical one would probably run you around $45,000 new. Wish we had the 2400 with black/gray hull color...those are
