Brees is not an elite qb anymore, his skills are on a downward trend. With that being said the saints have not done anything to help Drew out. The running game is weak, and his WR group is below average and pass blocking is average at best. He still has enough skills to make the Saints a playoff team, but make a run at the superbowl with his supporting cast is a long shot at best.

He is very much elite, our receiving core, not so much. If Graham is down ,it makes me very nervous. Its time for Ingram to go and use whatever we can salvage for him to secure a top receiver, Brees deserves it.

He's had his moments this year when you say yes but his play today and this year overall have been slightly above average. He's missing wide open guys and under throwing receivers a lot like he's lost his rhythm or his arm is fading. I'm one of his biggest supporters but lately he's been average at best.....flame away

Then Brady isnt elite anymore as well...and Rodgers as well...they all had bad games today...so I guess we have no more elite QBs in the league besides Peyton, who will lose in the playoffs.

Brees was never elite. He's always been bailed out by his receivers, or his running game.

The real Brees is finally being exposed. Perhaps now the Saints will consider drafting a real QB.

Some of you will never be satisfied. When Brees retires and we spend the next decade trying to find the next franchise QB maybe you will finally realize how special of a player he really is. Not every team is lucky enough to stumble on a Rodgers or Luck after a Hall Of Fame QB leaves.

As far as people giving Brees shite about the INTs he throws, that is just a part of his game that has to be accepted. It's going to happen when a QB is as aggressive as he is. The TD pass to Stills was dropped in over double coverage on 3rd and fricking 20 and was considered a great throw. If that ball is batted or picked, the same people sucking his dick would be calling him a shell and saying he had no business even attempting that throw.

He's 2nd in yards, 2nd in TDs, 4th in Passer Rating, and 5th in % despite having more pressure this year than any year as a Saint

The oline played better this week and Brees is still a god damn stud.

He had a 144 rating and a 120 rating the last 2 weeks. So he was elite the last 2 weeks and not this week

He completed 83% of his passes a week ago

Brees wins with superior game preparation and a drive that's unmatched in the NFL. His arm strength is average and he relies on perfect timing and his receivers winning the battle for the ball, which they do more often then not. As long as Brees is a Saint we will be in contention for championships.
