If you'll bend over I'll help u get the stick out of your arse!!!
Let em vent!
They happen to have some valid points!
You obviously don't make it to many games!

Honestly, our fans are becoming spoiled bitches. We win so much now that it is expected. People at the game don't have the passion anymore. Pretty simple really.

I have had four season tickets for 15 years and yes, every game is on TV. But, that's not why I don't go anymore. I don't go because I don't want to listen to piped in techno music. I want to listen to our great band but can't because immature idiots feel empowered by cursing. It seems odd to me that the very "corporate" people taking over the stadium would be the last ones wanting the changes that are occurring inside the stadium game experience. It's bizzaro world and the only thing being looked at is how much immediate money can be made. I'm an old fart but it's still such a shame.

CBS calling us out on national tv. Good job, Joe. Good job.
Well it was also pointed out that its a problem across the country. By the same CBS crew
And it started with skip not joe.
Would you rather LSU be cheap like the old days and pay coaches peanuts? Gotta pay to play, not that I like it but it is what it is. Complaining on a msg board does nothing

Tiger Stadium just got called out on National TV?
So what? It means nothing-absolutely nothing. Don't start with the recruits see this and blah, blah, blah.
LSU is known as a National powerhouse in college football. There is no caveat of "But the fans don't show up."
The media has succeeded in upsetting you folks about this horseshite.
Just win, Baby! Relax-we did and the rest will be fine.
The real shame has become the increasing number of fans that will not let themselves enjoy this unequaled amount of success that is ongoing with LSU football.

I missed that, what did they say?

This is a issue across college football, you can claim that others schools don't have this issue and unless you've personally been to these games no one will believe you.
The real issue with fans not going to the game isn't cost. Before the game tickets were cheap (30-40 bucks) but the convenience of staying at home. With every game on TV now, what is the point of going to a game?
I can stay at home, drink all day, and enjoy myself rather than wake up early, fight traffic getting to stadium, sit in the heat all day, deal with drunk idiots at the stadium, and then fight traffic on way home while coming down from a buzz.
Alabama game will be a packed house because everyone wants to let their friends know they went to the game, and then other games (Furman for example) LSU fans will stay at home and watch it on SECTV or ESPN2 and enjoy their Saturday.
Since my thread is on page 2

You are correct sir.
OP wasn't being lame with the typical "crowd sucks", he was pointing out jus how far the TS experience has fallen. And when Verne effing Lundquist points that out, if that doesn't make you question the why's behind the facts, then you are clueless.
My opinion in this topic has changed. I used to be in the like it or lump it crowd. I was wrong, and the current administration needs to see how close they are to screwing something up that is special and unique to a whole lot of ppl.

That's what a message board is for. Not complaining does nothing as well. Maybe his thread will get read and someone involved with the gameday experience will toss the fans a crumb that might satisfy some.

Lazy LSU fans have been leaving games early for years.
Personal Seat Licenses are the norm. You can't compete with the other big programs without money and the PSL's bring in money.
The empty seats weren't corporate seats. People in the lower bowl are mostly long term season holders from years ago, not corporate folks.
Nah, it's easy to blame Skip and Joe but the blame lies with lazy arse fans and entitled asshats.

Price honestly has nothing to do it with, TAF may have run some fans out but you can still find tickets for 30-40 bucks on game day. Issue is every game is on TV so there is no need to go to the stadium and watch the game when I can stay home, not deal with the headaches associated with going to a game, and get a better view
this, except price does have something to do with it. the higher priced seats are purchased by the older, usually more affluent buyer. it is my experience and most of my older, more affluent friends that the way we used to do things at games just have become too much to do 7 or 8 times a year. we get lazy as we age and we like our comforts. TV is perfect. i swear i would just as soon watch half the games on TV in the parking lot. and i used to be one hell of a party son of a bitch and was always horse on sunday. since the program requires so much money tobe a top program it is just the way it is. us old farts whose kids are grown and gone just ain't the ole partiers we used to be. sorry.

Can I also mention the crass scoreboard that is so over the top with advertising that I want to vomit every time I look up. LSU is starting to try my patience.

LSU fans, have left games for years.... I am not sure why people assume this has just started... Price may have something to do with it, but it isn't the major factor like people want to pretend.

Threads like just indicate that there are many LSU fans who are angry that the rest of the world isn't making sure that LSU football constantly lives up to their unrealistic expectations of what a college football program is supposed to be like.

This is true but it is not just the LSU fans. A couple of years ago I was sitting in some outstanding seats for the WVU game. We were on the 35 about halfway up. Oddly enough the people next to me were from WVU. They knew somebody that got them the tickets in the "Old Money" LSU side. They paid to fly to BTR from SC and they left at halftime because they wanted to watch it somewhere they could get a beer...
Alabama game in 2010 I was working with a concession group in the West Upper. Bama fans left in droves by halftime for the same reason. They or their dates wanted to go somewhere and watch the game and drink.
I will bet my bottom dollar it will come a time that alcohol will be sold in the stadium to the general public.

Band issue:
Moorehouse didn't get declined the job. she left for her dream job. Frank wickes the legend retired the same year she left after a lifetime of service. Roy king is left and not only gets controlled by the beauracracy of the TAF and the media but also picks music for his own taste which IMO isn't music fit for TS. That is his decision and I personally don't agree with it or the direction he took the band after wickes and Moorehouse left but unfortunately it is what it is.

LSU fans for the most part are spoiled honestly, they've had 14 years of success.... 00-13 and they don't know how to handle when someone says something negative about the program fans.... Funny because next season when LSU is ranked in Top 3 among loudest stadiums fans will be touting it again and then bitching about the fans once the season starts.

Wow what a f*cking genius!!! What do you think is happening, and it is not ok.
This needs to be figured out one of the biggest advantages of playing at home is the noise from a sold out "and full attendance" in tough games it really makes a difference. Just listen to any football player, they will tell you the same.

Don't let it, unfortunately it is just the sign "pardon the pun" of the times. The Tigers need your support you are part of the 90,000 that the football team depends on, every voice in that stadium matters.
