1/9 and its not even close
Also saw Memphis hit a buzzer beater when I was at USM. We hadn't beaten them in 10 years and we had the game in the bag. They hit three 3's in the final minute to beat us including the one at the buzzer

The Colts moving or when Len Bias died.

January 3, 1993.
We left my friends house in Metairie to go to the Saints-Eagles playoff game right after Bubba McDowell returned an INT for a TD to give the Oilers a 35-3 lead over the Bills. We got into the Superdome in time to see Al Del Greco kick a FG for the Oilers to send it into OT, where the Oilers lost 41-38, tying the 1-15 1980 Saints or the biggest blown lead in NFL history.
The Saints then proceeded to blow a 20-10 4th quarter lead to lose to the Eagles 36-20.

Bama vs South Carolina 10/9/2010. We just couldn't do anything that game.

had a major melt down after that one, but I didn't include it bc it worked out alright
I too had a melt down after that game but i don't count it in my top 10 worst sports days. I was watching it at a sports bar with some friends, naturally the whole place started rooting against LSU which pisses us off even more. This chick at the table next to us said something late in the game and i told her to frick off I apologized and bought her a drink after the game was over and lets just say it worked out as well for me that night as the rest of the season did for LSU.

The game was a summation of probably the biggest scar on Miles' tenure thus far-- completely fricking over a player who had shown tremendous resolve over his career. Moreover, it's very arguable our defense was one of the best ever and better than the one Bama fielded, but there's no real way to know since Bama essentially went up against Reggie Ball in Game 2
This and the guy that said the 2011 Kentucky game are taking Jefferson hate and Lee love way too far. Jefferson was bad, but Lee was no better and maybe a little worse. Lee played OK in 2011 but not great, but LSU does not win the 11/5 9-6 game without Jefferson. Lee threw an awful pick in t he 3rd, that Mark Barron returned inside the 5. There was a block in the back on the return which negated the run back, otherwise Bama would have won, becuase they would have scored a TD from the 2. Lee threw something like 1 TD and 7 picks in 4 career games vs Alabama. He was not the answer. Its admirable that he stayed at LSU after the 2008 pick 6 fiasco and I understand why people like him more the Jefferson, but he was just not a good QB, at least Jefferson could run, that usually gives Saban's D a little trouble, though having a mulligan negated that.

Tell me about it. They literally haven't won a game since I graduated. fricking 12-2 conference champions to worst team in the country
Luckily I'm a student at LSU now so I get to root for a winner again

Driving home after UT beat Bama and hearing that Payne Stewart died in a plane crash (technically before the "crash" but...)
I liked Payne Stewart a lot. Different guy, had some bumps in the road but prevailed. He was very nice to me once when I volunteered to caddy at a Pro Am

Last year's SEC Championship game. Because of what the implications would have been.
Couple that with the Falcons loss in the playoffs a week later in much the same fashion that UGA lost on the same damn side of the same damn field under the same damn roof.
That was a hard pill to swallow.
Also Monday night was bad.

Sheesh...I was talking to my neighbor last night, and said could you imagine what Atlanta would be like right now if UGA hadn't won the game Saturday.
