Is Corey Raymond the problem or just a lack of talent.

The Jalens have regressed since last year along with Losten IMO.

list the DBs that have not regressed since Raymond took over

Valid point. They all look uncoached and lost.

Is Raymond critical in recruiting? If he isn't, I can see him finding another job after this season. Les has usually done the right thing when these situations have popped up.

We miss Cooper in a bad way.

I believe he is in the New Orleans area. We just need a primary db coach. Maybe he can be assistant head-recruiter and assistant DB coach?
If the previous coach is available, can't we bring him back in as a consultant?

I thought that was Frank Wilson's territory?

I'm sure cooper would love to leave USF to come back to LSU.
I wonder if he'd do it mid season

Frank is head of the recruiting office, isn't he? Can someone clear up Frank Wilson's position versus Kragthorpe's?

he was credited with landing Diarse from Neville. Other than that, I haven't heard much about him.

was he?
I thought he just left for a better gig at tampa bay?

he's an awesome DB coach

the lack of pressure up front by the d-line and poor pass coverage skills of lb's has lead to some of those db woes! let's get two other defensive coaches involved in these defensive problems(Haley and whomever is coaching lb's)

No pressure on the quarterback is the problem. ANY QB can pick apart the secondary with all day to throw!

i dont know if fired is the correct word, maybe pushed out or mutually parted ways but yes he was known for his super lazy recruiting. nfl made since being that you dont have to recruit there, just coach

It was rumored he didn't like the recruiting grind but I don't think he was fired or told to look elsewhere.
Raymond isn't getting it done. Someone on this staff has to answer for that defensive performance on Saturday. Improve or get the boot.

Didn't Chavis bring in cooper?
