That was awesome!

It was a phenomenal kick for a lot of reasons, but the timing at the angle was so perfect. I've always thought that if you practiced this enough times with your kicker and like 2 guys on each end of the kickoff team, you could develop an unstoppable onside kick. I mean to have the timing down as far as the time it takes the ball to roll 10 yards at that angle relative to the speed of the guys covering it. If they don't have to break stride and they're basically less than a step behind the ball when it hits 10 yards, I would think your cover guys beat the hands team 10 out of 10 times because of several factors. The aesthetics or style of the kick wouldn't matter if they developed that impeccable timing.

Also, credit goes to Owlie, because he took this kid out and showed him a good time and his titties (on his 3rd and final visit) and it was more than enough to convince this awesome kicker to sign on dat dotted line.
