Did we really let the band Gumps use our practice field?

For years, the Bama band has practiced at Denham Springs High School on game days when they play in Baton Rouge. My guess is that they couldn't practice at a high school on a school day.

It's a nefarious plot by Saban to get a spy near LSU's practice!
Everyone knows Saban controls all things Bama and he would be sneaky enough to arrange this.

WTF!!!

ETA: Actually, not surprised. I guess it's the best band field in between gumpaloosa and College Station.

I've been waiting for this thread to show up for the past month now. We practiced at y'alls field so we could have one last run through before the game.

Frank Wickes would have never allowed this to happen.

$800,000 band is not welcome.

I really don't have a problem with this. The SEC bands have always worked well together and been generous to visiting bands whenever possible.

I was TB Baritone section leader in the mid 80's and once had Bama's director compliment my section telling Mr. Wickes that mine was the best Baritone section that they've ever heard.
