Miles is just a patient guy man, cool cat...... Lots of media hates him because they just can't get to him or LSU no matter how hard they try!!! I Love Les for this and yes he prob should of hired both chief and Cam or someone equal a long time ago? But mayb he knew their wasn't anyone that had all the creditials these guys have?? Now we have em and I don't think they go anywhere for a while!!! At least not until he proves he is THE best around and there is no better, no matter how dirty anyone plays! We clean.... And we coming for that #1 spot!!! LSU doesn't have to play dirty and we will still kick your arse! We play on the FB field not around it! Let CamR or any recruit leave for dirty tricks or trucks or what ever! We will beat that arse on the field! Watch....... Idk about you guys BUT I saw a pretty scared Nick Saban coach, he may not be down right cheating but he's playing dirty and that allows the cheating to happen! It will come back to bite them! can't wait for the game this year, win or lose, this game will be a real strategic game from LSU!

Understood but my point is this could end up being great to bring the LSU family around Miles once and for all.
Give it up, it's never going to happen. He will always be only one loss away.
This is the one thing I have learned about him in 8 years.

I've never been a huge fan of Miles but this whole thing is like a witch hunt. Go interview a bunch of past playersfrom oother schools, sure boosters give a little cash, sure the use hot Brod's for recruiting. I'm with Miles on this one

Agree. I am a Miles supporter but have to admit that for the minority that can't stand or has issues with him this will always be the case.

Agreed, and let me add that the same witch hunt could be done with any coach that has been around for a while.
As far as rallying around Miles, the addition of Cameron > this story.

SI is a dying rag grasping for something to stay relevent. Shame on them for trying to to a hatchet job on a GOOD man in order to save their publication.

I think there will end up being somewhat of a rally.
And unlike one of the posters in the thread I would not rally around Les if I thought that Les was at fault.
Unfortunately there will always be idiots in this world.
Unfortuantely there will always be LSU fans that can't see how good a coach Les Miles is.

This OSU story and show SI and Dan Patrick (SI owns his show and he works for them) to be cheap, sleaze, rumor mongering humps.
Even ESPN is disputing their claims.
I guess what SI is advocating is to polygraph every player every week.
I do not believe that these things happened to the extent they are writing about.
I think SI has lost a lot of credibility as has the Dan Patrick Show
which is owned by Sports Illustrated (McLovin is an SI employee as well).

les miles is the best football coach LSU has had in my lifetime.
You must be very young. All he's done is ride the wave Saban started. How could anyone in their right mind say Miles is a better coach than Saban?
In my lifetime, the list would start with Saban, then Mclendon, then Arnaparger, then Stovall. Miles would probably next, although from a pure coaching standpoint be can't say he's any better than Archer. If he had to coach the same quality of recruit that Archer had, I don't hold out much hope he'd have done much better.
Miles is such a stand up guy, the kind that threw his players under the bus after that championship game debacle. Any scumbag that blamed that solely on the players and not on the play calling and coaching is an embarrassment. I saw the man with my own eyes say that the only reason we lost that game was because the players didn't execute the game plan correctly and that they would have called the exact same plays if they could do it over.

Don't ya know, that's the exact same thing I heard and read a whole lot of people saying about them after that big story on Lance Armstrong from a couple years ago.

CLM took what Nick started and improved it, starting off with a class of only 13 committs left to him.
Nick handed over the keys to a 'vette with a flat and no gas in the tank, imo.

I've read some dumb sh1t on here but you, sir, take the cake. Wait you have to be kidding right.... ok.
3 and 4 against Saban? The other coaches you mentioned were good but didn't come close to what Miles has accoplished.
