Pro tip: Watch the drum major's feet. Clap when a foot hits the ground

No..he does. The student section is going along with the claps..not the foot steps of the band.

It's TRUE.

On pregame, when the band finishes Hold that Tiger and starts speed marching we're supposed to have a cool, paced L S U.

Instead the student section speedchants lsulsulsulsu to the point everyone else in the stands just quits trying.

No!!! The south end zone always screws it up. It's not their fault really but the clap is usually one second to .5 seconds off.

Sound is fast but not the speed of light. It will always be screwed up and their isn't anything you can do about it. Think about how bad it's going to be when they enclose the south end zone. God!!

I think the GBFTL keeping time with all that nonsense going on just shows how badass the band is. I say keep up the noise.

From a former Tiger Band drumline member..., yep! We even keep tempo verbally and visually among ourselves and tune out the crowd.

Have you seen our student body? It's a miracle half of them can tie their own shoes. Clapping in rhythm might as well be curing cancer.
