Loses at home to an FCS team and still shows class. With all the douche bag coaches out there, this is refreshing.

“I was truly impressed with you and your teammates,” Snyder wrote. “You played so very well, virtually error-free and with such poise.”
NDSU defeated the Wildcats 24-21 in the season opener on Aug. 30 with Jensen scoring the game-winning touchdown with 28 seconds remaining. K-State came into that game as the defending Big 12 Conference champions.
It’s not common among head coaches to write letters to opposing players, said NDSU’s Craig Bohl.
“I thought it was a real classy move by coach Snyder,” Bohl said. “I think he recognized the skill-set Brock brings to the table and what he did. I know it was something Brock cherished.”
Snyder closed the letter by writing, “Please share my thoughts with your teammates.”

I think it's very classy. I wonder what the K-State fans think?

Will Saban write Manziel a letter or Sumlin write a letter to McCarron? You can bet Spurrier ain't communicating with Aaaron Murray.

i hope they see that they have a genuinely nice guy as a head coach who accepted defeat and praised the other team for outplaying his team.

Classy move. I like Snyder and admire what he's done at KSU over the years.

True story.
Kansas State played Arizona State in the Holiday Bowl in 2002. Kstate won the game 34-27, but after the game Bill Snyder came into the ASU locker room and offered his congrats to the team for how hard they played (ASU nearly knocked off KSU despite being an 18 point dog in the game).
Guy is all class.

Clearly, he just appreciates good football. I'm down with that.

Thanks for bring this here. Great story.

It was probably hand written, sealed with wax, and delivered by carrier pigeon.

I mean that's nice and all but I wouldn't want Les writing any letters to opposing players that's just kind of gay

I do like Coach Old Balls though. Doubt he wrote one for Florence last season.

Snyder wishes he recruited that QB.

There's apparently a lot of negative stories about how Snyder handles his coaching staff, I think the quote was 18 hour days are expected.
Certainly didn't hear about him doing this to anybody from Baylor last year, but it's still a thoughtful gesture.
