Anybody remember Torshiro Davis?

He was the guy that pulled a last minute flip and walked away from his commitment at LSU to go join Texas. If you'll remember, he cited poor morale and a bad atmosphere on the LSU team. Texas told him he'd be an instant contributor at Defensive End and that Austin would be the quickest way for him to get to the NFL. Let's see how that's worked out for him:
His freshman year he saw Texas get steamrolled by pretty much every team with a pulse. Most of that watching was from the bench. Last night he saw BYU rush for 550 yards on his Texas defense. While Allen and Hunter were destroying QBs, he was eating a 40 burger from a bunch of Mormons.
Hope you're happy in burnt orange, Torshiro.
PS- Davis has two tackles in two seasons at Texas.

I will never hold a grudge against a kid who decided to not come to LSU. I have better things to worry about.

just move on, he is already forgotten about

Lmao... I thought about him last night while Texas was getting their shite pushed in

if he is not doing it at Texas what makes you think that if he would have come to LSU he would be doing any better? If anything the competition is tougher at LSU. So I don't see what the problem is with his decision.

Bo Davis ensured he'd never get an interview at LSU with how he pulled that one.

I had to confirm that because it couldn't possibly be true.
Damn... it IS true.
550 yards? To a team not known for running the ball?
LMAO.

Who cares...
Admittedly, he pulled a dick move on LSU and has karma going against him but really...

Wasn't he a strength and conditioning coach at LSU while Saban was here?

Some of you girls need to adjust your bra straps!! The op was simply revisiting a recruit that flipped on National Signing day because he thought the grass was greener and some of us find it funny how things worked out for him.

This. And being from the Shreveport area, I was glad to read this.

Remember Davis well...said some shite things, thought he was putting one over on LSU, well guess life did not turn out very well away from Tigerland for him, did it? Funny, how in the end, he would probably be sitting on the Tiger bench anyway. Sure, I want anyone that LSU recruits to sign with the Tigers, but when you try to be a jerk about, I wish you double hell, so I think you can figure out what I think about Mr. shite Davis.

A kid that pulls a stunt like that, is not one you want anyway
Toshiro, Jantzen, etc

Oh yeah I remember him. I bet the morale over there is awesome! Heard he wasn't happy last year and was looking to transfer. Made your bed.... Lay in it.
While people maybe upset that he went out of state, people should be even more upset at the way he did it on national signing day showing up in burnt orange to sign his letter of intent. Enjoy your time in Austin. Maybe you can transfer to north Alaska junior college and play.

As an LSU fan, I hate to pull against any recruit, so I normally don't. But former LSU commits like Torshiro Davis & Gunner Kiel kinda asked for it.
And any LA recruit that holds a freaking press conference party to say where they're going, and choose an out of state college can kiss my arse.

Shiro and Kiel are different cases IMO. I don't waste time thinking about either, but when Shiro is brought up, I'm still like "frick that dude".
