For your sake I hope you take as much pleasure in our victories over Bama in recruiting as the disappointment you're expressing right now. Some people here only harp on the ones we lose out and fail to recognize that we have a ton of players that Bama wanted as well.

Cam is a smart man. After seeing Bama's o line compared to ours in week one he has a much better chance to see immediate action for the gumps. We didn't need him anyway. Good luck to Cam.

Your right, but there was a knock on Davenport from the beginning. First he played for a small 2A school "Mansfield" and he didn't wow people in the summer camps. CRob plays for WM and has wowed everyone at the camps. Just sayin!!

There have been large, long-term statistical studies which demonstrate almost indisputably that there is a strong correlation between star ranking and on-field performance, both at an aggregate level and an individual level. I'm not really bummed at all. After seeing Collins and a freshman Hawkins I'm so stoked about the future of the offensive line specifically tackle position. We also have Pocic so it sucks but we have a ton of talent.

The312 - you don't even have to go with the studies, just go with the black and white. Bama has 3 crystal balls in the past 4 years, they have the recruiting title the past 3 years with the #5 ranked team in 2010. Do the recruiting services make mistakes, yep always have always will. But the mistakes now a days are fewer and fewer, recruiting has gotten so much more sophisticated over the past 10years it is crazy.
Hmmm do the math, Bama 3 recruiting titles in the past 4 years and Bama with 3 BCS titles in the past 4 years. Looks like the service might be right after all.

One OL will not or break or make this class.
As important as the LT position is, an OL is only as strong as it's weakest link.

These services don't pick up on anything that any casual observer could figure out for themselves. That's why they're wrong so often. They see some huge 6'5'', 300+ lineman and call him a 5 star recruit. They see some kid that runs a 4.30 40 and call him a 5-star recruit. That's about as in-depth as they get. And they miss a lot. Anyone that takes their word as gospel is someone's opinion that I have a hard time "valuing."

Sims was the person driving this Bama train. If you didn't notice Sims offer wasn't commendable from Bama. Then CRob goes to Bama the week before and now Sims offer is commendable. This was a package deal all along just LSU didn't know about it. Its funny because I told people on this board that he was going to Bama. They got mad and basically attacked me verbally. If you are visiting a school five times and wearing their gear you are going to their school. In addition, Sims bragged about a package deal to Bama. The signs was there and now they are pressuring Hootie to go with them. This is a wake up call for LSU fans and staff you got Bama, Texas A&M, and others that have infiltrated Louisiana to grab our best players.
You know why BAMA and others come on this board to laugh and brag in your face because some of these people are friendly with Bama people. However, Lsu people can't go on their board. We as a board need to keep the outsiders off this board period. Just my opinion
