Watched the second half replay on espn u and agree that they let them play. Boone had an egregious push off on a third down conversion catch not called

Yeah they were letting them play otherwise we would have been flagged for a push-off on a catch. Don't recall who our WR was, but at least they intended to call it balanced. TCU just took advantage of it more I guess.

It was Boone as I recall.

Les Miles pisses me off when he doesn't jump a ref's arse for an obvious penalty that costs us a touchdown.

It wasnt near the level of blatancy as TCUs PIs in the first quarter and on Juices TD

Not to mention some crazy holding

And one of the more obvious block in the back no calls that kept a scoring drive alive for TCU

The first PI no-call was not so bad. Yeah his arm was around him, but I'd want our DBs to get away with that too. Had it been called, it would have been tickytack.

The second one was PI and should have been called.

It was, overall, a pretty atrociously officiated game. In the end, I thought it was bad enough both ways that the poor calls (and no-calls) generally offset each other by not changing the outcome of the game.

Some bad TCU OL holding calls were let go. This was not balanced. Thee DB's I agree they let play.

They just were not throwing many flags which benefitted TCU bc they were physically outmatched. It did help us some bc our physical DBs were also able to rough up their WRs.

LSU could have been up 14-0 in the first five minutes of the game if not for those no calls.

Nothing LSU did later to TCU offsets that.

What goes on in the red zone is a much bigger deal that the other stuff we are talking about.

one PI was borderline imo

one PI was obvious but not called

TCU's secondary looked well coached

I don't disagree that it made a difference in the final score; but it didn't change the outcome of the game. TCU got the better of the bad officiating overall, but it wasn't enough to get them the 'W'. Everything else is just window dressing.

I feel like the reason our defensive backs are playing so physical this year is because last year they would literally get mugged by receivers and never get any calls their way. Honestly I'd rather just let the teams play physical football instead of throwing a flag every two seconds.

On the first trip to the red zone there was an iffy one that could have gone either way.

The second trip to the red zone after the kick-off fumble recovery there was a blatant one that prevented a touchdown. That was really the only one I was upset about.

this. The other two on the opening rive were good plays. The receiver didn't even look for a ref.

The no-call on the block in the back was much more egregious.

I was jumping up and down on a couple of non-calls for holding, and obviously TCU got away with several no-calls for pass interference. I saw maybe one pass where we got away with a no-call on pass interference. As someone already said, I think in the end, it makes our receivers and D-line stronger- but certainly I would not expect this to happen in a game against someone like Bama, a team notorious for holding...
