Since Les won't tell, we won't know until we see it with our own eyes. Three game suspension was all fan speculation and never something mentioned by the school. So, we continue to wonder.......second half mop up appearance in one of the next two game or the Auburn game?

First SEC game. And only if the other backs struggle.

I'm pretty sure I heard Alfred Blue say Hill will play in the next game

Keeping him out v TCU is a punishment. UAB and Kent state, not so much.

No way.

And I don't see any reason to hold him out any longer IMO. Time to get him into the offense to start gelling. I'd be pretty annoyed if he came into the Auburn game rusty as hell, a week before probably one of the biggest games of the season.

If he is suspended why would he dress out? I don't get les and his secrecy with suspensions.

Seriously, seriously doubt it. Hill has been on the cusp of not being a part of the LSU football team twice. I would be shocked if he risks losing a chance at making an NFL roster by sticking around in Baton Rouge even longer.

Les calls a suspension being "withheld from play." Hill was still a part of the team week 1 and got to watch his teammates from the sideline. Nothing wrong with that.

Don't know if he knows anything for sure but Alfred Blue said in his post game interview that JH33 would be back next game...

Miles said with a twinkle in his eye to Holly Rowe after the game that JH33 would play very soon

I hope he plays soon, but I will guarantee he will play against Auburn!

When Les decides it's time...and based on his comments after the game saturday, I say he starts the 2nd half of the UAB game.

Yes Blue mentioned in a locker room interview on the post game radio show that Hill would be back for UAB.

But why dress out? Couldn't someone else have dressed out that wasn't suspended?

This is why he is coach and you are not. If JH33 had a mandatory SEC or NCAA suspension he would not even travel with team. In this case JH33 was under optional team discipline. IF JH33 was needed due to injuries to others then I expect CLM may have opted to play him but that was a longshot. Withholding JH33 from play in that circumstance punishes the team not JH33. Essentially, CLM kept his options open because he never said how long he would not play... Now he is off the hook.

I think Les gives players that are suspended a series of goals they have to meet. Such as show up early for practice, do extra workouts, curfew etc.. If these goals are met in the time established then he plays, if not then he doesn't.

Les is not saying what the time table is for good reason. That is why he is being vague as to when Hill will return. It is up to Hill.
