You all do realize c rob is an EE?

If he is bama better now than in December. A lot can happen between now and then.

Besides he was the one guy I was not confident about.

Coach Shows was the top influence in the sudden decision of announcement. Any further inside info will needed to be emailed.

well that's a good sign...

keep in mind that I'm pessimistic about the whole thing... having said that... I do not see that as a good thing. I see it as Shows urged him to go ahead and end the speculation so LSU can find another (which they will).

Not that Shows is necessarily pro one school over another (he's pro "his kids"). But do let one B. Guice have one of his kids hurt LSU twice (once by getting CRob, the other by delaying) probably doesn't sit well with him. And he would feel the same way if the shoe was on the other foot.

The #1 player in the nation from Louisiana picking Bama

FIFY

When is the last time if ever has LSU pulled a 5* player out of Alabama that Bama offered ? I can't think of a single one. This has given me a stomach ache,as well as the timing of the announcement. The national media will be all over this. It's just sad to see such an elite player from Louisiana go to our hated rival. I hope that Cameron Sims enjoys his " bama experience". If this guy ever sees the field it will be on special teams. He got used and is probably to dumb to even know it. I'm sure Bama told him all the lies about how much they needed his elite talent when it was all a ploy to get CR.

Oh well.......

Serious question: Every one stating that announcing early favors Bama because he is an early enrollee. Why? Even if he plays in the championship game, his football season will be over in early to mid December. Wouldn't that give him plenty of enough time to announce his decision, yet still enroll early into the college of his choosing?

Has Brandon Harris tweated about this? If not, could that be telling? Like he doesn't want to spoil Cam's day in the sun. Versus if he knew it was Bama he would have some last minute recruiting to do or concesions to make. Like "congrats on your decision big fellow" or "its not over till the fat..." or "you have to do whats best for you" or something, anything. Not crickets.

Saban wants to embarrass LSU on the eve of the season opener

The choice to make a decision Friday is just as much a shock to Bama coaches now they were informed about a week ago well 1 coach was (not Saban) and it was more of a "Can we do this on Fri the 3 0 th Cam is ready" from his Mom but the date and timing is all the fam and his decision.

And as far as every school being dirty you're right every school has boosters LSU is no exception and they layed their cards all out on the table with him a long time ago some kids and their families give in as far as I know they didn't to either side

LSU will attempt to make a push today

We're the LSU "Fighting" Tigers, but this thread is making us look like the whining Tigers. If he goes to that other state, he will be replaced. Not saying that the replacement will be on Cam's level, but one area that we're stacked is on the O-line. Losing this kid would hurt, but it's not the end of LSU.

that's a stretch, robinson has nothing to do with what happens on the field this season.
Never said it did, I was thinking in PR terms. This is big news and will be talked about during both teams' games.

So embarrassing that we lose out on the #1 La prospect 2 out of 3 years. Right before we open up the season

I don't know, if anything I think this announcement will get less backlash being on the eve of opening day. Most outside of the recruiting fanatics are more worried about the season than recruiting at this time of year.

I agree. Cam and Quinn were the only instate guys I thought LSU had a chance at losing. They got Quinn, Cam might/might not commit to them. Oh well.

LF would be the biggest loss in LSU recruiting if he went any where else, just because Miles hedged a lot on him.

Jamarcus Russell. QB Mobile-Williamson HS. 5*
That was a Saban pull. Now, we can't touch those kids.

It's ok. When we put it on them in BDS, the PR will swing a bit. I mean they're the media darling so until we knock their teeth down their throats real good, they'll continue to be. They're the real "ESPNU."

Hs decision has nothing Tom do with embarrassing lsu before its opener. You are aware his high school season kicks off Friday night. Maybe he and the coaches want some of the distraction out of the way.

And get ready because we are going to lose the top OL again next year to Notre Dame so deal with it.

Saban is just flat out the best recruiter in the nation. He was the best when he was at LSU and has been the GOAT at Bama.

That just shows how great of a gameday coach Miles is though. He's highly underrated as he's gone toe to toe with Bama with less talent.

I hear you dude but,LSU can't afford to keep losing the best players in the state to a division rival.
