The Denver Broncos have had some terrible luck thus far in 2013...

Between the individuals in the organization getting arrested for driving under the influence (DUI x's 2), fax machine mishaps, a multitude of injuries, suspension(s), etc...it just hasn't gone as originally planned. Perhaps the most concerning part of all this are the injuries, though. Especially the large number the team is looking at.

Below is a quick look at the injuries:
quote:

1) DE Derek Wolfe: suffered a cervical neck injury in the last preseason game. He is expected to return by game 1 of the season.

2) MLB Stewart Bradley: wrist surgery. Will miss the 2013 season.

3) CB Champ Bailey: foot injury. As of now, he is out indefinitely, and some suspect that the injury may be a Lisfranc injury.

4) WR Wes Welker: sprained ankle. Avoided a major injury here, as many suspected a high ankle sprain. Day-to-day as of now. Is expected to play in week 1, but is done for preseason.

5) RT Orlando Franklin: hip. Haven't heard much more, but was expected to return by week 1, at least.

6) C Dan Koppen: torn ACL. Was in position to the be starting center again this season after JD Walton had to delay his comeback.

7) C JD Walton: ankle. Problems have come back with his ankle, and he is expected to miss the entire year.

8) LG Chris Kuper: ankle. Day-to-day at this point.

9) Louis Vasquez: knee. His knee flared up after the most recent preseason game, however MRI results were negative. Considered day-to-day.

10) Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie: high ankle sprain. Happened right before preseason, and he will be out the rest of the preseason. Hopes to be back in week 1.
It's very possible I missed an injury, but that's how it's gone so far.

Are there any other teams with this many injuries so far?

They still play in the AFC West.

You shouldn't be worried.

Von is also on the witness list to a brutal 5-person bar homicide that happened here last year.

The Broncos will be fine they have a cake schedule to start the season

Week 1 Ravens at home - Ravens are in rebuild mode

Week 2 @ Giants - Giants are overrated as always and Broncos have 9 days rest

Weeks 3 and 4 Raiders and Eagles at home -

I love the thought of Von Miller being out vs. the Eagles.

Sources have said that he's a lot more than just a witness.
