I love how this team is showing they can win games by scoring a lot of runs in a shoot out or winning it with pitching in a pitchers duel. So many ways this team can win games right now.

The reason I believe in this team is there is no true weakness. We may not be the best everything, but we do just about all facets of the game solidly. Props to Wren.

With how Teheran and Minor have pitched recently, I'm not worried about the pitching at all. We've shown we can consistently beat good pitchers, I'm just worried the hitters will go cold for a few games. But they could also get really hot and beat the crap out of anybody.
And by the way, how FRICKING INCREDIBLE is our bullpen? Minus our two best lefties, they've been lights out almost all year long.

If we can avoid rough patches where we lose 5 or 6 in a row in August and September I'll have a lot more faith in our postseason odds. We have shown a tendency to take two steps forward and one step back this year. If that keeps up we need to be in the middle of taking two steps forward when October rolls around.

Ah nice. I don't know I'm still not confident on sweeping them. We are on a roll but we could lose 14-0 against any pitcher. It's still baseball
