That would be pretty sweet, if it was even remotely comparable quality.

Anyway, Heady, if you "know something", why don't you just tell us?
I'm sure it can't be pinned on your friend.
And will the restaurant be connected to the pool?

Yeah, I was kidding. I don't even eat Canes.

I made a promise to my connection I'd keep my mouth shut. This guy isn't some fry cook looking to score his next eight ball of yayo. He is a "higher up" so to speak.

Put it this way- I think this place will bring in plenty of people who just want to eat. Basketball will be secondary. It is that good.

And in really all seriousness, my guess would be an Emeril or Besh affiliation?
I would also maybe throw in Dickie or Ralph Brennan. I believe both restaurant groups do some sponsoring in the arena and programs.

Brennan's probably make the most sense. Most of their stuff is pretty mediocre so it would fit. (With some notable exceptions as well)

so without naming anything, if there is even one new food option in the arena this fall you can claim you were right?

Yes, and we already know there WILL be new food options, a restaurant included, from the renovations. So...

Acme is already in the Arena. It isn't Acme (thank Jah)

twin peaks would be legit. food sucks, but the scenery is so much better.
