How do you see the division shaking out this year? I see this being the tightest division in football with the winner being no better than 10-6 and the loser being no worse than 6-10.
1. Eagles - They were missing 3 starting linemen last year and they get them all back, including Jason Peters, arguably the best LT in the game. Offense should be explosive no matter who is QB. They have the 2nd best RB in the game, and a pair of very good WRs.
2. Skins - Don't like them, but Shanahan can coach. He may run Morris and RG3 into the ground a la Terrell Davis, but it won't be this year. Plus they get Orakpo back.
3. Giants - Eli is great, and has good WRs. However, their D-line which was always their strength isn't what it was. They have a weak secondary and are notoriously slow starters.
4. Dallas - Jerry Jones refuses to give up the GM job, which does Dallas no favors and Jason Garrett continually coaches them out of victories. Romo remains a (very) poor mans Favre, and switching from the 3-4 to Kiffin's D will take major adjustments.

It'll be interesting to see how Kelly adjusts (or doesn't adjust). I'd put the Redskins at #1. Giants could finish anywhere in the division- they're just like that. Cowboys should be pretty bad.

good points. This is the only division where I think any team could finish first and any team could finish last.
I think the Giants have the least amount of talent, but Eli is the best QB in the division and Coughlin has 2 SB rings. So you can't count them out.
As for Kelly, I think he will be fine. He is too smart of a guy to be married to his Oregon offense in the NFL. I expect the Eagles to surprise some folks.
Also, since you are a Bama fan, can you tell me about Stoutland? I loved that hire when Kelly brought him on.

Likewise. I also laugh when I hear people say that Kelly will fail in the NFL because Spurrier did. Spurrier has been on record saying he didn't want to put in the work and coaching in the NFL took out of his golf time.
Kelly on the other hand isn't married and has no interest other than football. IMO, the man will be prepared every game

One of, if not, the best in the nation. It didn't matter how inexperienced the OLine was, he always had them prepared.

That's great to hear. I knew Bama always had great O-Lines, so I assumed he was a good coach. He has a good amount of talent to work with in Philly, not to mention the RBs. Other than AP, I can't think of a better RB than McCoy.
Thanks for the info

I don't know about that...I think you can put about 5 or so in his category.
Charles
Rice
Martin
Lynch
Richardson all up there

I think he will.... His offense will NOT fit.... To many risks and it will take a while for him to get players that HE wants.. Taking Barkley was a fricking joke................ Eagles are 5-11 at best...........

I agree. Giants dline is gonna be weaker than usual, but if the secondary can stay healthy they'll be better than last year by default. It'll be interesting to see what happens at rb or if they air it out more with a good core of wrs and eli.
