Connor Curry lives in my hometown and literally lives 2 and a half miles away from my house. This kid is the real deal. Youth1 conducted a ranking about a year ago for the 2017 class and he was ranked the number 1 overall player in the country reguardless of position so he really is a great football player. What sets him apart from other players his age and particularly qbs is his unprecedented work ethic. He works with qb coaches all around La and is dedicated to becoming the hest qb he can be. You usually dont see that in a qb that is just now starting highschool. If he comes to LSU (im pretty he sure he will if offered) he will be the most refined, college ready qb we have ever picked up. I know it seems light years away but this kid is going to be the next damn Peyton Manning and we should be excited

P.s. The local newspaper here in Shreveport/Bossier had a story on him and he was on the front page and the title read, "The Next Peyton Manning"? So thats why i said that. Just didnt want to get any crap for saying that. But hey you never know! Im sure he is ranked higher than Peyton was at this age if there even was a ranking for 9th graders back then

Where was his 4.6 run at?

That kid has TE, DE, or LB written all over him. Ive seen plenty of kids like him that dominate the level of competition. LF and DM are totally different in terms of the way they play the rb position. Maybe he did run a 4.6 idk here a lil hard to tell.

Not sure where he clocked himself. But I have personally seen him run and he can go! He is really athletic for his size. He can dunk 10' as well. You would think him moving to another position would be his best move at the next level until you see just how talented he is with the ball in his hands.

Yeah there are 8th grade phenoms that just become solid guys at it at the high school level just like 5 stars that are not dominant in college. But the reason I ask about the 40 is I know some really good, fast guys who are only 4.5-4.7 runners in combines.

Are y'all kidding me?? Devin Hutton is lazy and has bad work ethics. I understand he is practicing with rummel's 3rd team. Their is no comparing Devin Hutton to Dylan Moses. Dylan will start for U-High while the other plays 9th grade.

You don't think there is a difference between Rummel and UHigh?

Went to the Rummel/CL scrimmage earlier.

Hutton listed as 6'0 240 on their roster he looked like a baby JC Copeland. The way the kid's built he could end up anywhere from a DT to a RB.

He's their 4th or 5th string RB right now but you can easily see the potential's there. He's not very fast but he has very nimble feet for a kid his size. Only played a few snaps on varsity. He got hit and fumbled in the backfield his first carry, but a few plays later he had a nice 15 yard run where he did a couple spin moves and guys just bounced off him.

I see Hutton being a defensive end or tackle depending on how big he gets. Moses may also project on defense before long....lb or de.

Has a ways to go. Threw 2 int's tonight 1 would have been returned for a TD. Failed to move the ball consistently at all. Evangel 1's only got past the 50 once or twice and that was after starting at the 30 on the 10 play possessions. His only td pass was to Jared Cornelius in the goalline portion.
