Movie posters

Mrs. Baloo and I just bought a new house, and we're in the process of decorating. Now, being the guy, I have almost no authority whatsoever, but we are going to decorate the den with movie posters.
So... I need suggestions. What are the best movie posters taking into account both aesthetics and whether it advertises a movie that's any good (I think Showgirls has one of the best posters ever, but I'm not going to buy it)?
Right now, we have precisely one poster:

Please don't put a Scarface poster up. Please.

Why the hate? It's a den. A den is a casual place that is usually centered around the TV. What is wrong with putting badass movie posters up in your den?

Well, 25 year olds are always very concerned about not being seen as children. So it matters more to them that they don't do "childish" things. Once you reach a certain age, you don't care anymore. You don't need to "Act adult" because, well, you are one.
That said, I'm not putting up things from a college dorm room like Scarface or Trainspotting (though I love Trainspotting). We're framing and hanging classic posters. Also, aesthetics are most important. Metropolis has some amazing art, I'm tempted by those.

I suggest using posters of movies you love not just posters of movies that "look cool"

Where on earth did you find that Leon poster? that's amazing.

This probably doesn't help you, but for some reason I really like this one:
I had it back in college

Man, his design is very "architecture-y". My brother is an architect, and all of his sketches look a lot like that. Very cool. We have some of my brother's artwork throughout the house. Cool link.

These should fit right in then. There are some other pretty cool ones in his collection as well.
I really like the solid color effect.
