Kobe has always been the most overrated NBA player since Jordan's retirement. Without having multiple All Star players and a dominate big man to hold his hand every step of the way, Kobe is nothing more than just a another chucking shooting guard. All Star caliber player no doubt, but an overrated chucker. quote]
You are obviously a Kobe hater but you cannot be serious. Who is winning these championships without other allstar players? Kobe would not have won ANY other those 3 rings without Shaq but Shaq would not have won ALL 3 without Kobe (Shaq would have one at least one). shite, Lebron wouldn't have won this year without Bosh.
[quote]Kobe alone doesn't make a team better. No matter how desperately hard the media has tried to tell us otherwise.
Just trying to get an understanding here. Take Gordon off of New Orleans, put Kobe on, do you really not think they would be better? You can do that for about 20-25 teams and the answer will be yes for all of them. (some teams are already built with no need for a scoring 2, example OKC)
I hated that fact that he made Buss pick b/t him and Shaq and they went with youth and got 2 more rings. Those teams and MJ's bulls were my favorite to watch, the alley from Kobe to Shaq in that comeback against Portland will always be my favorite NBA plays, the celibration makes it even better.

Maybe we should get the Dixie Chicks to weigh in too. They are more relevant and smarter than Nelly.

And that's exactly why Lakers fans are some of the worst in sports. Despite Houston having a younger, more talented team with a brighter future and the best young 2 guard in the game, Dwight should have stayed in LA because it's the Lakers. What a joke.

I watched that this morning. I REALLY hate that chick.

Damn, that's an impressive amount of stupid.

She is terrible. "You honestly think we ain't gon hold it down in 2015??"
The Lakers have been extremely fortunate in drafting once in a generation players in Magic and Kobe, along with their acquisitions of Kareem, Shaq, and to a lesser extent Pau, but who is the star that is going to go there and keep the franchise elite? Lebron ain't going to play with Kobe. Who else is capable of making that franchise dominant? Paul George? Melo? Those guys won't carry a team to a title.
The Lakers are about to be like the mid 90's Ced Ceballos, Eddie Jones, Nick Van Exel Lakers are their fans will be humbled.

Because she's blatantly biased about her teams and she made horrible points. I can't remember what all she said but it was straight ignorant bs.

Nelly also said Kobe isn't a leader because he unfollowed Dwight on twitter
Posted on 7/16/13 at 6:51 pm to LSU Nguyener
No, he said people didn't like playing with Kobe. He used that as an example of why.

I think Nelly made some good points. Kobe pretty much has made it clear that he is a shite team mate. He was Lucky Gasol was so willing to come in there and accept his role and play it so well or Kobe wouldn't have gotten those last 2 titles.

and man I really wish he would have answered that question about "would Shaq have won those 3 NBA titles without Kobe?" You give Shaq another all star to replace Kobe with and you bet your arse he does. Might have won a 4th in L.A. IMO instead of losing to the Pistons. Kobe could have had any other big man in the league and wouldn't have won any of those 3 without Shaq.

If Kobe switches places with Gordon last year then they are an 8th seed at best. Kobe will not make an a shite team good. He will be a shite team average.
That's the point nelly is saying. Kobe is a great player but he doesn't make others better.

Hell he allowed a great team talent wise to look like an average team last year.
