I love the way Cotton competes. I don't think he has any chance to pitch at the major league level throwing as slow as he does. He does get more out of his talent than 99.9% of all baseball players. He is a tough kid.

I was remembering Cotton was a walk on and taking a crazy number like 58, a spring training number in the bigs. I think Manieri and his staff should get a lot of credit for seeing something in him and sticking with him until he emerged the last couple of years into a pitcher that was dominating in college ball and one that got an oppurtunity to make it in the pro's.
