We have Newcastle at home and we get Hendo back. I'm pretty sure we win that one.

I get why we went for the goals, but as soon as they scored their first, we should have pulled it back in.
But I just don't think we're capable of that. Too many young guys and a not very good defense.
So....really, its just amazing we had a shot this year. But because of the additional games CL will bring, it will be tougher next year.

Next season will be so fricking great in the EPL.
I was really hoping Pool would win the title once Arsenal got decimated and out of the running.

Just finished watching. Son of a bitch what a run of emotions.
After those shots of Suarez, don't think anyone can criticize his love for this club.
Oh and frick Crystal Palace

Just watched….
For the day= son, i am disappoint…
For the season=
Think about this… Before the season, many on this site, even fans of the club spoke of Liverpool finishing 5th or 6th… no one was REALLY saying we'd finish 1st or 2nd, but guess the frick what… we are…
it has been a great ride this season, some of it tragic, some of it magic… all i know is we are back in CL, we have one of the best players on earth, and we are about to have some free money to spend…. while pissed about the outcome, considering we were up 3-0 and i think we got greedy, i'm still damn proud of the collective effort for the season and amazed by the progress of many of the pieces we have going forward…
so to my Liverpool brethren, live those heads and remember, WE never walk alone...

I'm being absolutely 100% honest:
This is the first time I've ever been actually physically sick after a sporting event. I had to go sit in the bathroom.
frick. Everything.

I am not a Liverpool fan. I am a huge Bayern Munich fan. My roommate is a Liverpool fan that is the only reason I even pay attention to Liverpool. I don't like Man City and never will and I want Liverpool to win the title for Steven Gerrard.
BleedPurpleGold the only time I almost cried during a sporting event was the 09 UT Bama game. fricking Mt. Cody.

I was in too much shock to cry. I still am. I have no idea what to do with myself. I just sat in bed and stared at the wall for like 20 minutes.

I had a bad feeling when I left for work at halftime. I didn't think it would be that bad. Feel bad for Gerrard and Suarez.

Hopefully he gets more than 50m. Don't you get 40m just for making CL? Surely we could pony up at least 20m.
Figures Ive seen is here gettin 60 million to mess with. You guys can't go crazy b/c of FFP due to taking 50 million plus losses the last two years.

I don't totally get it, the Chelsea loss was much more devastating. I mean all this did was make it easier for City, last week is what took it out of your hands.
Unless it was just the epic collapse aspect of it all.

This is how I see it as well. Whereas before we would need City to draw, now we need City to lose. Neither seem likely to me. So it's possible this match really meant nothing anyway.

Savage is right and I felt like I wanted to puke last week too because I thought we at least draw if Stevie doesn't give that up to Ba. Yesterday was just such an utter shock from going up 3 and almost having at least 2 more to 3-3 and making it easier for City.

I appreciate all the positive energy but I'm just not at the "it's been a great year stage" yet. We had the title in our grasp and gave it away. I haven't felt like this since that f*cking screen pass to Yeldon.

Taking this from the summer transfer thread. We're supposedly bidding on Lazio/Nigerian midfielder Ogenyi Onazi.
Don't know a whole bunch about him - anyone?
I suppose he will be cover for Stevie (who can't play 50 games next year, especially after a WC summer), slot in in place of Lucas or whoever, and generally provide MF depth?
