I was pumped when he said Lamela.
I'm really nervous to see how our back line handles Suarez now. Hopefully we can just stick Sandro on him for the whole game.

Sandro and Capoue can both battle him a lot. Dawson is so screwed. Suarez gets one on Dawson no matter what. Hopefully, that's his only one.

Tottenham: Friedel; Naughton, Capoue, Fryers, Rose; Dembele, Holtby; Lamela, Sigurdsson, Townsend; Soldado
Would love to see a strong game from Rose in his return. Another solid performance from Capoue in the Defensive center would also be appreciated.
Can Lamela and Soldada solve their offensive problems though? Glad this one is on ESPN3!!

Townsend on the left, Lamela on the Right! Does AVB finally get it?!

Holtby has been money lately. Beautiful finish there

Never was a hat trick more needed! Soldado!!!!!

Is this team slowly starting to find itself on offense?

Whoooaaaaa, let's pump the brakes here. They really haven't had much trouble scoring in Europa.

2 goals in each of the last 3 PL games and 4 today is encouraging. 3 of those games were pretty crap competition though.
Lineup I want for Liverpool:
Soldado
Townsend Paulinho Lennon
Sandro Dembele
Rose Vlad/Capoue Dawson Walker
Lloris
But I think with the minutes Townsend played today Chadli will get the start and Townsend will sub on.

When you consider 2 goals in each of our last 3 BPL games and 4 goals yesterday, it seems we are seeing a little more offense than before. I don't know, I'm hoping maybe they are finally putting some offense together. Oh and I didn't say or mean they suddenly woke up and became Man C.

Not playing with inverted wingers has really helped. They have definitely been more lively these past few games and they reminded me of previous spurs teams that were a lot of fun to watch.

Interesting, no Holtby? Any reason why you wouldn't want him in the game?

When Lamela and Townsend switch sides after halftime though Lamela became less effective and almost forgotten. Townsend reverted back to his usual cut in left and rip a shot antics. He seems to play selfless on the left and selfish on the right.

I love Holtby. He ran his arse off yesterday. I hope he isn't tired for Liverpool.

I was thinking the same thing. I like having 2 of the following 3 (Sandro, Paulinho, Dembele) with a Holtby or Eriksen in there.
And, personally, Lennon can DIAF.

Lennon has been one of our better players! I was all for him being on the bench early on, but him and walker have been working well together.
I would like a player like Holtby or Eriksen in, but I think against the top teams AVB is going to go a little more defensive minded. Paulinho has started every PL game so I don't think that will change and Dembele got subbed off while Holtby played the whole game.

I agree that having 2 of those guys plus a more creative player is the best option I just think AVB is going to play defensive against Liverpool. I wouldn't be surprised to see Holtby come on because he has been excellent these past few games.
