Townsend coming on as a sub has been great with his speed and quickness against a tired defense. His crosses while playing on the left were much better too.
Yeah AVB loves his inverted wingers, but it wasn't working for us so hopefully they're gone now.

We may be without Vertonghen, Chiriches, and Kaboul depending on how serious their injuries are. Rose is listed as coming back on the 15th, but they've been pushing his return date back a couple weeks at a time for a couple months now.
We'll face a much weaker Pool but Suarez is in beast-mode right now. I think it will be something like 2-2 or 2-1 Spurs

Also, it should be mentioned that we drew the Gooners in the FA Cup. Risk/reward. If we lose, I'm pissed. If we win, I'm pumped. They are obviously the favorites though.

I'm pumped for another shot at Arsenal. Too bad it's at the Emirates though.
I LOLed when I saw Sandro and Lamela. That hat and shirt are ridiculous. I'm glad Lamela is going out with the boys, I just wish Vlad would wear his face mask out to the clubs.

Seriously. I think Vlad is quickly becoming a fan favorite. The dude is just insane on the field. I love it. The facemask completely fits his personality. He should wear it as a precaution for the rest of his career.
I really had no expectations for Chiriches, but he is an absolute baller. I think a back line of Rose, Vertonghen, Chiriches, and Rose will be pretty damn solid. I just don't see how AVB will be able to justify starting Dawson once everyone is healthy, even though he is the captain.
I love the move at 1:31 in this video. LINK But this whole game was full of awesomeness, and he plays like that all of the time. That goal he had vs. Fulham was just awesome. Who shoots that? And who hits it that casually.

And sounds like Vlad, Jan, and Kaboul will all be out this weekend against Liverpool. Thank God for so much depth. Etienne Capoue time. He is such a force out there. Capoue is very versatile. I would love to see Capoue and Vlad on the field at the same time. I think they both play with a presence that this team needs.
