I know you're joking (or at least hope you are), but I shake my head at fans who legit get pissed at this.

How you answer this question depends on if you take cost into consideration.
Ingram hasn't done a lot, but he was also the lowest pick of the three. If I recall, the Saints gave up a 2nd round pick and the next year's first round pick, which would have been in the high twenties, right?
Ricky Williams on the other hand was a #1 overall pick and was pretty much guaranteed to not be worth the f*cking ridiculous price that was given up to grab him. That was just a stupid deal from the start.
Bush was a decent player, he just didn't live up to all the hype. But at least the Saints didn't make a stupid trade to get him.
So based on just what they did, Williams was most successful/least disappointing, then Bush, then Ingram last (although of course he is only a couple of years in and could turn things around).
But based on what it took to get them, the order would change and I'd say that Bush was the best selection (we didn't make a dumb trade to get him and he was a key part of the super bowl run), then Ingram (hasn't done a ton, but we didn't mortgage the future to get him), then Ricky Williams was the biggest bust b/c of the huge amount invested in him.

This post is stupid and has been posted over, and over, and over again.

Ingram has been a huge waste especially given that we traded up to get him. Bush and Williams were awesome compared to him. Williams had a decent career and was a good RB when he wanted to be. Bush has skills and was very good when used correctly. Ingram falls down after a yard each play.

Blame the retard coach who traded all the picks to get him not the player who ran for 10,000 yds.

This is the Saints board and with the saints he was a bust. He averaged a mere 82 yards per game as the main RB at like 3.8 yards per carry. He also missed 11 games in his first 2 seasons.

He ran for 3000 yds in 3 years. One of 3 backs in franchise history to do so. To paint his time here as a bust is idiotic.

You are right. I had completely forgotten that he was taken a little later (#5?). I always think of him as a higher pick b/c of the insane amount of picks given up to get him. So freaking stupid.
I stand by my point though...if you consider how much was given up for him then he was the biggest disappointment...of course it is not his fault that the dumb@arse coach/gm made that call.

drafting a first round RB these days is just plain stupid. Especially for us! It was a Heisman trophy winner that was overhyped by a team who dominated the line of scrimmage in college! SP has always liked RBs. Its Rickey Williams especially what we gave up to get him.

He also had 250+ carries a season and was Ina. Run oriented team. I think Ricky definentoynis less of a bust that Reggie. I don't think you can be as big a bust this early in your careeer as a 27th pick

Ingram so far
As inconsistent as Bush was at least he made some impact his first few years and teams had to change their entire gameplan to keep him in check
