I really recommend Man of Steel in IMAX 3D if you're near one. It was awesome and the action sequences and visual sights was definitely worth the extra few dollars.

I'm fortunate to have easy access to one 10 minutes down the road.

IMAX 3d, really could have done without the 3d but that's because I hate it in general. Going to see it again Friday in 2d.

I read that interview and that's not the vibe I got. It seemed like she was confused why people thought there was more to it and was "sure I guess it could be something (but it's not)".

You have to remember that the government has no idea where that ship is now because Clark took off in it. Supergirl was on it but like I said unless she can live nearly 19,000 years or they ripped off the frozen person plot point from Captain America, she's not in it and that shot is what it is: a throwaway shot. They didn't linger on it, They didn't play special music when it was on camera.

I'm going with the much ado about nothing theory.

Why would you try to emphasize that with music or something? Its just opening up a plot point for the next movie. You want people to be like "oh shite i didnt even think about that" in the next movie. Its like the Lexcorp Tankers. They didnt linger on that or have any attention brought to it, but its very likey that its a sign that Luthor will be a part of the series

And i see no reason why a superhero or villian couldnt live that long or any reason why they couldnt use the frozen ice theory

Again, MoS was pretty long (atleast it felt longer than most movies) and a scene like thaf would be the first to get the axe if it didnt mean anything

If they go back to that in MoS2 for some relevant plot point, I think that's lazy writing and a lack of creativity. There are far too many story lines to explore that would be much better.

huh? Lazy? I would think it would be the opposite of that. Meaning they thought THROUGH the story.

It was a shot that was almost taken out. Goyer said it was a loose end that he wanted left in. He has written the sequel yet, so for now, it means nothing.

For all we know the person that left the pod could have been the writers idea of where human life came from on Earth. They had a genesis chamber where they could have created the 1st humans.

IMAX 3D, and it was incredible. Zimmer's score with all the action sequences felt like a roller coaster ride once it was all said and done. Cant wait to go back and watch it again. At worst, go see it in 2D IMAX . But 3D was pretty damn amazing.

Crawfishin hard would be assuming that there is another Kryptonian is on Earth based on a pod being open from a vessel that has been on the planet for nearly 19,000 years.

Maybe the superpowers allowed them to take on Mammoths and Sabers and kept them alive. Then over time their bodies adapted to our sun and their superpowers were lost.

Obviously pure BS speculation.

considering we have solid scientific evidence that the modern human has existed almost 200,000 years you can throw the 19,000 year origin out.
