It ended like every other season has...a quick check in with twelve storylines to set up next year. It's like the first 33% of the entire story.

Season 1 ended with the dragons being reborn. Season 2 ended with the White Walkers.

Season 3? Dany of Nazareth. It was lame.

Agh, I forget how you can click on the name of the poster that a post is in response to and it will link you to the exact post in which you're responding.

Was about to scroll back but remembered Chicken already provided me with a link.

I didn't say it was awesome, just liked the way it showed how far Dany's come.

Just finished the episode. Tyrion and Tywin tag teaming Joffrey was awesome. It'll be interesting to see what Jon does when he hears about Bran. And I cannot wait for Dany to finally come in and frick shite up.

I think this may be my last non reader thread. I'm gonna to try to read the books before next season starts

Feel you there. I've read the first book the past week and have #2 on my nightstand that I may start before I fall asleep.

Anyway, what is the significance of the episode title "Mhysa"? Am I missing something?

Just re-watched, the crowd of slaves was still backed up into the city, so that wasn't everyone outside.

For those that have been meh on Daeny's situation, Andy Greenwald at Grantland made (probably accurate) guess that the producers ran out of money, and that's why the whole takeover situation was done poorly.

That's what they were chanting at the end. It means "mother" I think.

It's what the freed slaves were chanting to Dany, per Missandei (her translator/hand maiden), it means "mother."

Of course.

I guess I just spelled it in my head "Meesa" and didn't think of it when I read it without saying it.

Damn, that's a far fricking way to go.. Isn't Stannis pretty much as far south as you can go in Westeros? Would be like traveling from the bottom of Mexico to Canada

He's on the isle of dragonstone, from the map it's a little further north than king's landing, still far but not the furthest south

The map on HBO's interactive features site is helpful in figuring out where people and events are in relation to one another:

Haven't read the thread yet, but sadly I gotta say what a weak fricking episode.

Thankfully Arya finally got her first kill

And Tyrion spanking Joffrey was funny, but other than that,

Ok, I thought they were at Storm's End.. Which makes no sense, since that big table they've been around was made by a Targaryen

Eta: I just looked up Stannis' wiki page and he is Lord of Dragonstone. So he is at his own keep. I've been thinking he was at the castle he was born and raised.

Oo oo, can somebody remind me of the new family that was introduced last night? Or was that a dream of mine?

Wasn't there a new royal house mentioned last night?

you guys are too spoiled

was it the best episode of the season- absolutely not

is the show still badass and better than 99% of crap on TV- Hell Yes!

just because they didnt end with a bang and give us just the tip doesnt bother me, from everything ive heard shits about to get real and they are only getting started so i know they wont let us down. i wont let one episode ruin anything. you guys go back and watch the voice or americas got talent or something.

Also- FWIW- Am i the only one who really likes Stannis? Maybe its because id bang the shite out of the fire crotch but ive always liked him and im curious to see where he goes
