I'm anxious to see in Van Ginkel gets some PT. He could be a pleasant surprise if he stays healthy.

Regarding the formation, I kind of like the 4-1-2-3 but I think we'll still be int he 4-2-3-1 with Cesc next to Matic. But I also think Fab will play up in the middle of the 3, when Ramires fills in at the 2

I don't really rate Costa highly, but I've just had to accept that he's going to be the starter

I'm holding out hope some angry Brazilian cartel captures him this summer and holds him hostage in a favela bathroom until September.

Just bring in Balotelli instead and have him/Lukaku.

Very disappointed as a US and Chelsea fan to have DeBruyne and Lukaku do us in.

Very disappointed we are shipping out young players that are actually dangerous in attack and bringing in dog sh*t like Costa.

This. Belgium deserved to win, but shipping off DeBruyne has me scratching my head. He cut us apart like no other player did the entire tournament.

Even with the overall mediocre tourney we better keep Lukaku!

Ready made replacement for Lampard.

Maybe we can buy him back at a 40% markup like Matic.

Yea the USA loss aside I'm almost as depressed now about losing De Bruyne and Lukaku for scrub Salah and bitch Costa. Jose better win the league this year.

US lost, I couldn't even get excited for Lukaku's goal. KdB scored moments after puking. Ughhhhhhhhhh and oh, we get Costa.

From a soccer perspective pretty much the worst possible day for any self-respecting American Chelsea fan.

So is PSG trying to return Luiz after today's performance? God, we got lucky getting out of that mess.

He has to play defensive mid because he is a huge liability at CB.

He's also entertaining because you literally do not have any clue what he is going to do next. It's fantastic. If only some one could control him, can you imagine what type of player he could be.

No. He is a good player. They overpaid for him considerably, but they got a very good player.

Time to start the 2014/2015 thread? Kick it off after the World Cup comes to a close and some additional transfer madness continues.
