I follow Tulane baseball also, they have a really good class coming in and Rick Jones is finally having some luck in the draft.
Awesome. I would really like the LSU-Tulane baseball rivalry to be revived

Done with 20 rounds, no more LSU signees drafted since Palladino in the 5th.
Not bad

Would trade a few for Palladino, but still

Adam, I know you're high on Dylan Williams...is there any reason there hasn't been much draft talk about him?
After round 10 teams have backed off of him for now because it would be a wasted pick from rounds 10-20.

Yeah, I just didn't really see him mentioned on any lists prior and didn't see him in the draft tracker.

One of the best names was just picked...Derek Toadvine.

I love how fast the draft goes in Day 3

I had no idea Garrett Williams was still available...did he ever sign with anyone?

I thought I saw he was committed to Oklahoma State. Not sure if he signed with them though.

Actually just found an article now that he told MLB teams not to draft him and he's signed with Oklahoma State
Did Mainieri go after him? Some considered him the #1 prospect in the state even over Justin Williams.

Im not sure if we were recruiting him. When I looked into his recruitment last year, he was considering OSU, Vandy, Ole Miss and one of the Texas schools. I know he is from Texas originally. I remember him being the star on one of those LLWS teams.

I'll bet Lamarche, Rumbelow and Ross all leave. We have a lot of pitchers in this class. PM might tell a guy like Lamarche to take the money because he doesn't have a place on the team anymore, unfortunately.

What's funny is LaMarche and Rumbelow have the 2nd and 3rd worst ERAs on the team this year of guys who pitched a significant amount. Potential is there with both but neither ever quite put it all together in college.

Tulanes class is currently ranked #42. So its an avg class...not 'really good'.

LeMarche has already had major arm surgery. He's not going to come back to school and risk getting hurt again.

I don't really understand Rumbelow's potential but I'm not a scout. He seems to have a pitching motion that could potentially shorten his career, his fastball isn't anything special and has control issues. He's basically a two pitch guy. Closer maybe? Does he have the stuff for that though? Seems like his fastball only hits low 90s and is straight as an arrow. idk
Lamarche can throw some heaters. It's a shame his consistency with control hasn't come around for us this year.

He does have a good breaking pitch and basically the fastball is fast enough where scouts like it just because of the speed (low-mid 90s). I agree the fastball tends to be a meatball though with ZERO movement.

Love the fact that we might get 95% of our class this next year!!! Wow
