If I was a chick, I'd bear his children.

He seemed very disinterested yesterday (but I guess most guys are burnt from their club seasons, most notably all of Germany's players).

Does he play more of a defensive mid, or offensive?

defensive mid,

he's a box-to-box guy but he's at his best playing defense and recycling possession. he's had issues for the USNT in the past trying to play a more advanced role as a facilitator. he can put the ball in the back of the net if given the opportunity though

He's the anchor of the team, and the glue of the midfield. He's the most indispensable player we have.

He's a top 3 US player, Jermaine Jones outplayed him yesterday.

3 Days ago I would have said he's our best/most important player, but Dempsey, Jones, and Altidore really showed out yesterday. Some of that could be attributed to MB being back in the squad.

He is very important and he and Jones showed yesterday that they can play well together. Hopefully they continue to do that

Add Donovan and we r pretty good at mid and forward. Back is another story.

And IMO he's silky smooth back there too ... add him with Jones and you have two pretty good mids.

I think work best in a 4-2-3-1 being the two holding mids.

Honestly I think we have our front 6

quote:

Jones ... Bradley

Donovan ... Dempsey ... Davis

Altidore

And you can switch Fabian Johnson with Davis if you'd like but our issue is our back four IMO.

By Davis, do you mean Brad Davis? I'm a big Dyanamo fan, but he doesn't belong in the starting lineup for the USMNT.

I do ... I just have a feeling that he has a potential to be good for us, also he looked good to me the last two games. Especially against Germany & his set pieces are great.

But I did say you could replace him, I'd just keep him on the squad in case if he is needed.

Bradley is the backbone of the team. He keeps possession better than any usmnt player. He also has the exact same name as my deceased grandfather. He was really interesting. But kind of awkward. He designed hydraulic pumps for Caterpillar.

He is our team. He may not be our most talented player, but at this juncture he's our most important.

Anyone that can occasionally produce a wonder goal that plays for the USA has to be near the top of the list, IMO.

So that being said, I like Bradley and we desperately need him.

As of now, and lately, EJ has proved to be an attack minded player for us. True striker, but with his pace and our lack of depth, we play him at wing and he's done pretty well there actually. Makes good instinctual runs, über athletic and can take guys 1 on 1. He will make the plane to Brazil imo.

Michael Bradley will go down as one of the best US players ever.
